These are used like any bloo loo cistern block- remove the lid from your toilet cistern, drop one of the blocks in trying to drop it so it falls at the bottom to the very left of the cistern then flush. With each flush, the water should be a blue/ purple or green colour with less limescale and a degree of freshness.

Jeyes Bloo Acticlean are a new version of their bloo loo cistern blocks which have been around for a number of years. This "Acticlean" product, is 2 blocks for around £1.59 that claims to prevent limescale and release thick foam with every flush so your toilet stays sparkling clean for longer. A clean toilet is something that I insist on! If it looks grubby then I hate it so I am forever cleaning the toilet and if someone is due round then it has to shine! Maybe that makes me a bit strange but it is a standard that my mum instilled in me and one that I will never abandon! While shopping a few weeks back I went down the cleaning shelves looking for the new fresh discs product that keeps being advertised. I have never used toilet blocks or cages, the blue colour the blocks give put me off as it doesn't look clean to me and the cages make me turn my nose up. I like to pride myself on the cleanliness of my home, however having an all white bathroom suite, I am conscious of my bathroom smelling as clean as it looks. No one wants a smelly toilet, so I decided to buy Jeyes Bloo instead of my usual routine of pouring disinfectant in the cistern. I bought Bloo Acticlean from my local Morrison’s store for £1.58 and opted for Bloo instead of Tesco’s own label version as Jeyes has a good reputation.
