Jeyes Bloo Acticlean are a new version of their bloo loo cistern blocks which have been around for a number of years.

This "Acticlean" product, is 2 blocks for around £1.59 that claims to prevent limescale and release thick foam with every flush so your toilet stays sparkling clean for longer. There are three varieties/ colours: Blue, purple or green (why you would want green toilet water i have no idea..).

These are used like any bloo loo cistern block- remove the lid from your toilet cistern, drop one of the blocks in trying to drop it so it falls at the bottom to the very left of the cistern then flush. With each flush, the water should be a blue/ purple or green colour with less limescale and a degree of freshness.

I have bought cistern blocks for many years, as I like the novelty of flushing and having blue or purple water. It just seems fresher than your average toilet set up.

There are many alternatives on the market and some supermarkets have value cistern blocks so it is up to you if you want to pay 26p or £1.59 for something you flush down the drain.
