Advantages: Nice fragrance, strong liquid, keeps toilet fragranced between flushes.

I have bought this product quite a few times and find it comparitive with some, and much better than others. Today I bought the Aqua on special at Netto. The pack had a Jeyes Bloo waiting to be assembled and two refills. It was great value at 99p and will last me for quite a while.

When you buy Jeyes Bloo you simply tear open the cardboard packaging at the back and pull the product out of the plastic front. There is a white plastic base with adjustable hook to place over your toilet bowl. Into this plasic base you just push the plastic container which holds the Bloo liquid. This frees the liquid so that it is gradually relesed at each flush. Most of these products are very similar. This one has a large edge at the base which ensures that the product stays in place under the loo seat and does not slide about with flushing.

Jeyes is a good brand, in the realms of cleaning products, one of the most reliable being the old jeyes fluid. Forget ant powder on your path just put Jeyes fluid, brush and wash and they will be gone.

Still I digress but as you can see it is a brand I trust.

The Aqua has a nice fresh and clean smell unlike some brands. As the liquid is quite powerful there are some warnings. It is an irritant and so contact with skin must be avoided. If contact happens you will need to rinse thoroughly and, in the case of excessive exposure, or with your eyes, you may need to contact a doctor. Similar warnings are there, if for any reason it is consumed. There are no warnings about using with other products but use common sense.

It does seem to help prevent limescale, as claimed. The fragrance is just enough and not overpowering and it is discernible even in between flushes. When the liquid is released, with a toilet flush, it foams as it cleans. I find this much more useful than the old toilet blocks.

Overall I know this is one of those silly subjects. However I used to often buy such products and find them a total waste of money. Jeyes Bloo however does what it is supposed to and represents good value, especially whist it is on offer.
