Advantages: Cheap, pleasant scents, effectively cleans and gets rid of hard dirt and grease
Disadvantages: Can't always find them in shops, packs could be bigger
I like to use antibacterial wipes to clean my kitchen worktops and sinks and other surfaces. I've tried supermarket own brand wipes but they don't seem to work as well and I have to scrub really hard and still not all of the grease comes off. Some other branded makes are far too expensive for my liking such as Cif or Flash but I've found the brand Jeyes does some great value and good working wipes.
Jeyes makes all sorts of cleaning products and these wipes are in the Kleen Off range. Other products in this range include oven cleaners and sink and drain unblockers. They produce two types of antibacterial wipes - lemon, which comes in a yellow plastic pack, and is suitable for cleaning bathroom surfaces, sinks, handles and telephones, and the orange, which comes in an orange pack, suitable for cleaning kitchen equipment such as cookers, microwaves, sinks and kitchen worktops. They each have a very strong scent which transfers onto whatever you are cleaning leaving the item and the room with a pleasant smell of either lemon or orange. They are both antibacterial wipes so are prefect for cleaning worktops and removing any bacteria and germs. Each wipe is fairly large and they are very strong and thick allowing you to roughly scrub at a greasy patch or clean a large area. They effectively remove any grease or spillages leaving a completely clean and shiny surface.
The packs are easy to open with an open and reseal sticky plastic lid. You have to make sure you put the lid down properly and straight away though otherwise it looses its stickiness and the wipes will end up drying out.
Each pack contains 40 wipes and I've always found them for a pound everywhere I've got them from. The only pain about these wipes is that I've found them in different shops including Asda and Poundland but they seem to only sell them for a while, then they disappear and I can't find them anywhere else. Then they pop up again in the same shops a little while later. So I make sure that I stock up every time I see them. It would also be better if they came in larger packs as we get through them quite quickly.
These are the best value and best working wipes that I've used and I like to pick up a pack of each colour for cleaning the different things in my house.
Summary: Some great antibacterial cleaning wipes
