JML Toasta Bags
Advantages: Easy to use, work well, make lovely toasted sandwiches, mine were free.
=== The product ===
This is a JML toasta bag that is designed to help you make toasted sandwiches with minimal mess and fuss.
=== How to use ===
These bags are ridiculously easy to use. I make up a sandwich, drop it in to a toastie bag and then it goes in to the toaster on number 3 or 4 as normal toast would. After a few minutes I can tell that the toastie is ready because the toastie bags are a little opaque and I can see that the sandwich has become toasted with darker coloured lines down it.
=== Price ===
These seem to be available for around £4-£5 on average and while I have purchased some for just £1.00 that are very similar I would still say that this price is quite reasonable as opposed to being a bargain like the ones I already had made by a different company.
=== Overall product ===
I already own some sandwich toaster bags that I picked up for just £1.00 but when my sister was offering these as she was wanting to clear out some space I took them so that I could make four sandwiches in our four slice toaster in one go rather than reusing the two bags twice to make us both two sandwiches each. The main reason that I switched on to sandwich bags is because the sandwich toaster was filthy all of the time and was just driving me nuts as it was so hard to clean.
I have found that these can sometimes take a few seconds longer to toast than a sandwich but this depends on the filling and is usually a very small amount of time extra, if any. The bags are red hot when removed from the toaster so I tend to use a knife or fork or something similar to place through the circle at the top of the bag to remove easily without burning myself!
To clean these bags I tend to just soak them in with the washing up and then give them a quick dab with a sponge before running the bubbles out with hot water just to ensure that there is no mess or bacteria left behind. I then put them upside down on my cutlery rack to ensure that any moisture drips out and then they can be folded and placed back in my cutlery drawer until the next time I need them.
I cannot really see any major difference between these toastabags and the toastie bags I purchased in Poundland a while back, both work well, take the same amount of time and are as easy as one another to clean. I only took these from my sister so I could make four at a time and I have been very pleased with the quality of them.
Please note - A couple of the quick rating parts are not relevant but as I am happy with this product I have gave 5/5 for all.
Summary: A decent toastie bag!
