~ JML Toasta Bags ~

Now these are not something I purchased myself, my Nan who gets sucked into all new fandangled products bought these for herself, my mum, my aunt and of course me. After talking about how good these magic bags were that she had seen on the TV one night she went onto produce a packet and she just had to open up the box in order to show us just what they were and how the look, how they opened, what the felt like etc... So as always we go along with the performance which usually results in something being cooked! I do love my Nan's demonstrations, they rock!!!

She bought them for me as my eldest son absolutely loves toasted sandwiches, I do have a toasted sandwich maker but she thought these would just make life easier and maybe he could even come down in the night and make himself a nice sandwich ....

Of course I took the little present willingly and when I got home I did the same demonstration for my hubby, like the total lunatics we are, we must feel the need to show off our new things! Bloody family traits!

The pack comes with two bags inside, they are just bigger than a slice of bread and coloured in a tan sort of colour, at the top are two little handles. I have to be honest and say I have no idea as to what they are made from but it looks like a plasticky canvas if that makes any sense what so ever!

You can cook toasted sandwiches, fish fingers, burgers, chicken nuggets, oven chips etc in these bags however I have only got as adventurous as toasted sandwiches. My son is partial to a cheese toastie as he is very boring and doesn't like many foods, however I quite like cheese and tomato, cheese and ham, etc...
They are easy to use, you simply make up a sandwich and slot it into the little bag, you then pop this into the toaster and simply use your toaster as you normally would. I have found that on the first attempt the toasted sandwich may need to go back in for a few more moments but when the toaster has warmed up enough they cook really well.
When ready they simply pop up as toast would and you grab the handle bit and transfer it over to the worktop/plate. Then slide the sandwich out of the bag and it's ready to be served. The bags can then be washed in the sink or even in the dishwasher.

They do save cleaning up the toasted sandwich maker and make the job much easier and neater.

The toasties always taste great and I am very pleased with them. Each bag can be used up to 100 times or more if your really careful with them.
