KLEENEZE MIRACLE MAT

I frequently have kleeneze brochures pushed through the letter box and when the most recent one posted decided to replace the mat I had just thrown out.


PRODUCT AND PACKAGING...

The mat comes rolled up in a sturdy bag. When I unpacked it, I imagined that, because it was so tightly rolled, it would take ages to flatten out. However, surprisingly, as soon as it is taken out of the bag and put onto the floor, it flattens.
The mat itself fits nicely at the door and is quite thin. It is brown in colour with a darker brown stripe around the edge. It is non slip and does keep itself firmly attached to the floor, which is great for when the little ones come running through the door.

CARE OF THE MAT...

The mat is washable at 40oC but should not be put into a tumble dryer. It should be brushed or vacuumed regularly to remove surface dust and any stubborn marks can be removed using dilute detergent and a soft cloth. When washed it should be allowed to dry naturally. I have washed the mat a few times now and it has suffered no ill effects. It still keeps its non slip qualities and has not faded.

VERDICT...
Once I had ordered the mat it took about a week to arrive.

The mat is good quality and I like the fact that it is quite slim so that it's not standing too high from the floor. As well as the mat not slipping, I have also found that the edges don't curl up as I have found with some other thinner type of mats.
I don't know about its apparent miracle properties. There is a claim that any dirt brought in on shoes will be transferred onto the mats and so not be brought into the house, but I don't believe this is strictly the case.

However, that said, it is a good value mat which can take lots of tread without looking worn
