It is wonderful because you can use it in the machine or for washing by hand. It is amazing as you don't even need to rinse it out! You may know from some of my previous reviews that I am a great fan of Lakeland the home catalogue. The company was founded in the 1960s and was originally called Lakeland Plastics because they sold plastic bags and sheeting to farmers in the Lake District. They even sold something called Lammacs which protected new born lambs from the wind and the rain. I fell in love with this picture in my mind of new born lambs being comforted by these on remote hillsides, and see this as the very origins of Lakeland who have since expanded to have a family run home ware and kitchen equipment business on a world wide scale.
