I have been looking for something like this for ages because I heat a lot of stuff up in the microwave and am sick of the food staining the inside of my microwave containers and jugs. Beans and spaghetti are the worst but even simple things like reheating stew makes the containers look so manky that I end up chucking them away when they've still got loads of life left in them. This small saucepan from Lakeland is perfect though and the best thing is it cost me less than £4.00! It's exactly what it says it is and that's a small saucepan. A 13cm diameter pan with a lid that fits good but has got vents where the spouts of the saucepan are to let the steam ... Read the complete review

I like many of us out there do not often heat/cook on the hob like everyone used to since the good old microwave came along.Although the food is ready quicker and its more convenient there is often a problem....the state it can leave your plastic containers in.Cooking anything with a coloured element especially orange....well you end up with orange containers !! Well no more ...not with this amazing little saucepan. I saw this when out shopping with a friend who is a massive lakeland fan and until that day as much as i had heard of the store i hadnt stepped foot in one.She showed me this little saucepan and told me how amazing it was so i thought id give it ... One of my favourite household stores is Lakeland. I love browsing around their seasonal department, and also checking out what is new in store. I have quite a few things in my kitchen, which I have purchased from Lakeland. I am going to write about one of them today, and this is, what I consider, to have been my best buy from Lakeland so far. I think just about every home now has a microwave. I used to be constantly buy dishes and small white saucepans for mine, but not any more. I bought my first microwave lidded saucepan from Lakeland about three months ago. This small saucepan measures about 6 inches in diameter and stands ... Read the complete review

I found this little saucepan in Lakeland whilst I was looking for a microwave egg poacher. All the microwave items were three for the price of two so I thought I would give it a try. I have had microwave saucepans in the past, but they have always been white and so within a few weeks of heating up tomato soup and beans they have turned a lovely shade of orange. I often bring a tin of soup into work for my lunch but always make a mess of the microwave and spend half of my lunch break cleaning up splattered minestrone !!! This has saucepan has saved my well earned lunch break, It is so good I even went back and bought three of them, one to keep at work ... Read the complete review

I am currently on a health kick so take a lot of food in to work so I don't end up eating junk, this normally consists of stews, bolognaise or the English classic curry. I make all these at home and use Tupperware boxes to transport the food. We have a shared kitchen which nobody ever bothers cleaning so the state of the microwave really should be reported to DEFRA so I like to cover any food I put in it, unfortunately if I put my Tupperware boxes in the microwave it discolours them and gives them a horrible reddish brown tinge. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about! I can't stand this so always had to use a bowel with a plate on top to cover it which ... Read the complete review
