Advantages: Dishwasher safe, does not discolour; no more burns

Disadvantages: None whatsoever

I am currently on a health kick so take a lot of food in to work so I don't end up eating junk, this normally consists of stews, bolognaise or the English classic curry. I make all these at home and use Tupperware boxes to transport the food.

We have a shared kitchen which nobody ever bothers cleaning so the state of the microwave really should be reported to DEFRA so I like to cover any food I put in it, unfortunately if I put my Tupperware boxes in the microwave it discolours them and gives them a horrible reddish brown tinge. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about! I can't stand this so always had to use a bowel with a plate on top to cover it which always gave me nasty burns when I took it out. It was a major issue in my work life, and then I saw this piece of magic!

This is a small pot costing about £4 with a lid, easy-pour spout and saucepan style handle made from a piece of plastic. I know it doesn't sound much but this particular plastic really is incredible. It will not discolour in the microwave, ever!
I have now used this on countless occasions to heat all sorts of concoctions in and it is still as clear and transparent as the day I purchased it.

The saucepan claims to be dishwasher safe and so far it has completely lived up to this boast, I take it home once a week or so and give it a hot wash in the dishwasher and it comes out sparkling and unmarked every time.

The handle has never got hot so the stock of ice packs in the first aid cupboard has stopped diminishing since I purchased this. No more second degree burns for me!

The pouring nozzle is great for soups making it easy to pour into a bowl, although I actually normally eat things straight from the pan anyway.

All in all a great little purchase and one that has genuinely made my life that little bit easier, I've actually got another one for home.

Summary: Everybody should have one of these

I bought one a few months ago. Like yourself, I got fed up with having to clean the microwave after the contents were sprayed around inside.
Great review.
