Advantages: does exactly as described and is great for making porridge

Disadvantages: none but different sized bowls would be a great addition to the range

The Lakeland Stain-Proof Microwave Cook and Whisk Bowl is a great product and really does as it's description says. I am a big fan of porridge and was always fed up of getting steam burn half way through cooking when i had to take the lid of to stir it and if i didn't put a lid on then the porridge went all over the microwave.

So when i saw this product i thought i had nothing to lose by giving it a try. I am a convert. It is very easy to stir the porridge during cooking and i no longer have to worry about steam burn! I also tried making a cheese sauce in it too and it came out beautifully and i was able to stir the sauce during cooking.

The lip on the bowl also means that it is easy to take in and out of the microwave without needing a tea towel or heat proof mitt to hold it with. The bowl also cleans very well both hand washing and in the dishwasher.

I highly recommend this product and i have just bought a second one to use as my 2 year old has developed a taste for porridge too.
