Advantages: Makes clothes smell lovely and fresh
Disadvantages: None
There are lots of different varieties of Lenor fabric conditioners available. The one I am reviewing here is Lenor Summer Breeze. Summer Breeze is the yellow coloured variety of Lenor fabric conditioner. Previously I have tried the Sleep Infusions type and really liked it so when I ran out of that I decided to try a different product in the same range to make a change. I decided to get one of the smaller sized bottles which are 750mls and enough for 21 washes, rather than a larger size just in case I didn't like it.
It has an easily removable cap which twists off and doubles up as a measuring cup. It is recommended that you use between 2/3 of a cap to 1 full cap per wash. The liquid is runny like water and nice looking cloudy, pastel yellow colour. You simply add it to the soap draw of you washing machine and that is all there is to it. Using more than 1 cap is not recommended as apparently using liquid fabric conditioner can increase the flammability of clothes if too much is used. It should not be used on flame resistant clothing for this reason, and it is also not recommended for use on garments made from fluffy fabrics such as fleeces, velour, chenille and terry cloth.
The smell of Summer Breeze is really lovely and fresh. Lenor claims that your clothes will smell fresh throughout the day and I can confirm that this is the case. I don't add this fabric conditioner to every wash, but when I take something out the wardrobe I can always tell when it was in a wash where I used it as the clothes smell lovely and it is noticeable. It also makes the room smell nice where you hand the clothes up to dry which is an added bonus.
At present, a small 750ml bottle (21 washes) is available from Tescos for £2, the regular 1.4L bottle (40 washes) is £3.40 and a large 2.9L (85 washes) is £4.00. The largest is obviously the best value for money. Lenor Summer Breeze is a lovely, fresh smelling product and I highly recommend it.
Summary: Great for adding that extra bit of freshness to laundry
