Advantages: Good conditioner, washing smells nice when drying.

Disadvantages: Pleasant, but not amazing fragrance

I bought this product after being intruiged as to what 'black diamond' is actually supposed to smell like. When I opened the bottle and took a sniff, I couldn't really pick up on much of a particular fragrance when smelling the liquid itself. I was quite disappointed with this as I have had other fabric conditioners with lotus flower in that have smelt really fragrant. I noticed that the smell didn't seem to be anything in particular, although it was a pleasant smell.

I put one capful of this into the wash, which is the recommended amount. One capful is quite a large amount, so it is plenty. It is a white liquid, and it is quite thick in consitency compared with other conditioners I have tried. and I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the washing machine, as there was a really noticeable smell drifting out of the machine. Whilst the clothes were in the dryer I could really notice the smell, more so than with other fabric conditioners I have tried. I also notices that my clothes felt really soft and supple once they had dried. I didn't seem to notice the fragrance on my clothes after I had been wearing them though.

I do think that there are other fabric softeners out there that smell nicer than this one, so for that reason I wouldn't buy it again, but I would definitely buy a different Lenor one as they are obviously really good fabric conditioners.

Overall I would say that it is a nice smell, but not anything too special or different.
