“ Brand: Lenor / Type: Fabric Conditioner / Category: Laundry „
A couple of months ago I had a voucher for £1 off the Lenor Infusions range and the large bottle was already on offer at £2 in Tesco so I decided it was decent value and bought myself a bottle, after trying the bottle I was so pleased with it that I went on to buy some more of the range.
There are a number of different fragrances in the range and I think I have pretty much tried the full range now and I love the smell of every one of them, I only ever buy the softener when it's on offer as between the decent brands they all come on offer that regularly that there is no need to pay full price for them. The bottles cost around £2.25 for the 21 wash bottle and £3.37 for the 33 wash bottle which I got for £1.67 when on half price offer in Tesco, when you consider that another well known brand sells an 85 wash bottle for £6 this is quite expensive.
The bottles are very brightly coloured plastic in this range and this one is a rich metallic looking red in colour which makes it stand out and very easy to spot in my cupboard. The cap on the bottle is a screw top and grey in colour, the top is also used for dosing the machine. The bottle states that the product provides 7 times longer lasting fragrance.
Lenor is supposed to provide a release of uplifting aromas in every touch, revitalising your sense with a crisp and sparkling freshness. I wouldn't go as far as saying I agree with this 100% but would say I do often find that I can smell the product when I am wearing my clothing and do keep smelling it throughout the day. My sister often comments about the smell of my clothing and reckons she just doesn't get the same results and I even found a few weeks ago that when I went outside I could actually smell this on my washing on the washing line from a distance.
To use the product you simply pour it into the cap of the bottle, the product is concentrated so you don't need to use much and I actually only fill the cap 3/4 s full and find that this is plenty. The product is pink in colour and is pretty thin so you need to make sure you are not heavy handed when you are pouring it or it does end up all over.
The liquid smells a little too floral when in the bottle but I find that it smells really pretty once my washing has been done. I find that I can smell the product as soon as I open my washer door to empty it and the clothing drying around the living room scent the room too which is lovely. I think this products leaves my clothes lovely and soft and smelling great and the smell does last for ages. When I open my airing cupboard for towels or bedding I can smell the product which is lovely as I think everyone will agree the feeling of just washed bedding is simply the best. I really love this fabric softener and would happily buy it again just not at full price.
Lenor is a really good brand of conditioners. It has been around for some time and there are lots to choose from in the range. This range the Infusions only have a few fragrances and since I had tried one of the others in this range and liked it a lot, I thought I would buy this one to see if it was suitable too.
It comes in a red plastic bottle which has a grey cap, the cap can be used for measuring the amount needed to pour into the machine. It is a really nice pretty pale pink colour, it smells amazing and has a really nice floral scent. It is quite a strong fragrance and the smell is apparent as soon as the cap is removed. A gorgeous smell of freshly cut flowers is best I can describe this one.
It has a thin consistency and is a little runny, it is not as thick as some other brands and not as rich, it does however have a nice soft, smooth texture. It is easy to pour from the bottle into the cap with no problems. I do wish it was a little thicker though because I just prefer a thicker liquid when pouring for some reason.
It is designed to wash 21 wash loads for the size of the bottle being 750ml, for a normal load 2/3 of the cap can be used in the machine, for a larger load a full cap can be used and is enough to soften the fabrics. I tend to usually only wash a full load when I do my laundry and so just use a full cap of liquid.
Once I take my washing out of my machine I can definitely smell the fragrance on the fabrics, they smell gorgeous. Once they have dried the fragrance is apparent. When I open my wardrobe doors, I can smell the freshness on my clothes and this one does have the lasting time it tells me on the bottle being 4 times longer fragrance. I would say it doesn't appear to last any longer than some of the others in any of the other conditioners in the Lenor range in my opinion but it does last for the length of time that is good enough for the way I like my clothes to smell once I take them from my wardrobe or drawers.
It softens towels really well and leaves them nice and soft and having that fluffy feel to them. My bedding is soft too and my duvet covers and sheets etc do smell lovely when I get into bed at night. I love my bedding to have a nice fragrance because it does help me to sleep a little better, I don't sleep that well but if my bedding has a nice smell, it does help to relax me a little bit more. This conditioner works well for my bedding.
It can be used for hand washing too by just using a small amount in a bowl or just in a sink and to soak for a while or just a few minutes. It is always best to read the label in the garments because some fabrics cannot be soaked in a fabric conditioner and it can spoil the fabric. So it is always wise to fully read labels.
This one certainly does help soften fabrics, it has softened my bedding and towels. I have found them to be really soft to the touch with a nice lasting smell. When the washing has dried the smell is apparent and when getting into bed at night I just love the fragrance this one has on my bedding.
It has not irritated my skin or that of my grandchildren after I have washed some of their clothes using this conditioner. It has just left their clothing smelling so lovely and also soft to the touch. This one does give for a lovely fragrance on the little ones clothing.
I highly recommend this one for anyone to buy, it is of a good quality, a good value conditioner and one that has a lasting fragrance. I will buy it again in the future because it gives me all the softness and fragrance that I expect from a branded fabric conditioner.
I paid only a £1 for this one on special offer and I think it was around half the usual price and so a bargain not to be missed.
The bottle can be also recycled after use too.
I give it 5 stars.

Thank you for reading my review and hope it has been of some help.
I love having clean clothes and always uses fabric softener in every wash. I was bought up on sensitive sofeners that had no smell to it because my Dad suffers from skin allergies. I desided once living in my own place I could now do what I pleased lol!
The bottle is dark pink in colour with the Lenor name on the front. It tells me that it does thirty four washes. It is the Ruby and Jasmine infusions version. For soft usual wash add a cap full For exra softness use two capfuls. For handwashing use a third of a cap. It smells of Jasmine reminds ,me of what I grew in my garden years ago!
Myself using it~
As I said at the top of the page I was bought up with sensitive fabric softeners as my Dad has skin allergies
I'm pleased to discover this is dermatologically tested for sensitive skins. I will have to let my Mum know this.I simply add the desidered amount to my washing along with dtergent. I then tumble dry my clothes to give it extra softness. My clothes come out perfect every time even after I've done them on a quick wash cycle a tumbs up for me!
Available form all good super markets costing around £2.00 a bottle.
We bought this bottle of Lenor Infusions Fabric Conditioner - Ruby Jasmine a few months ago and we still have some of it left. We were attracted to the lovely deep ruby red colour of the bottle which we thought looked sort of decadent and a little bit different. I have never seen a bottle of such bright RED fabric conditioner before I came across this.
I liked the sound of Ruby Jasmine as it conjured up exotic images and lovely fresh smells and luxury. We bought ours from Tesco and the 750ml plastic bottle cost us £2.30. It wasn't on any special offer or anything, though I have seen it on offer since we bought ours.
It has a grey twist off cap which also doubles up as a measuring device which is very handy in my honest opnion. You only need to fill it to the top of the bottle and use no more than the recommended dosage as this stuff is very strong as it is concentrated.
As soon as you take off the cap lid you can smell the really lovely fresh smell of flowers and a fresh smell of outdoors but it is not too sickly as some of these can be, but nice and fresh and aromatic.
Once the clothes have been washed they wil leave them lovely and soft and fresh and the smell of the fabric conditioner will linger for ages after the clothes have been washed and dried.
We were quite impressed with this. The liquid is very thick and not as runny as some of the cheaper versions we have tried and this is why it has lasted us so long and we still have about a third of a bottle left under the cupboard., so it lasts a long time I think.
All in all a great conditoner and a real luxury item.

I love the scent of fresh laundered clothes and always use a softener in my wash to ensure that my clothes not only smell great but are soft and as crease free as possible ( I simply detest ironing!)
I saw a couple of new Lenor softeners on offer and thought that I would give them a go. I saw the adverts and seen as they look visibly appealing, I thought I would give them a go!
*Price and availability*
Lenor is available at most supermarkets and comes in a variety of fragrances and sizes. For £2.00 I got a 750ml bottle and I got a buy one get one free offer.
Lenor is a laundry brand produced by Procter and Gamble. This is the the Ruby Jasmine fabric softener from the Infusions range. There are 5 scents available in this range - Ruby Jasmine, Black Diamond and Lotus Flower, Amethyst Rose, Gold Orchid and Sapphire Violet.
The fabric softener comes in a soft plastic dark red bottle.
At the bottom of the bottle, it advises that you get 21 washes out of the 750ml. On this particular bottle, you can use the cap that secures the bottle as a measuring device, so that you don't use too much.
The actual fabric softener is a smooth velvety liquid; it is runny but not too thin.
The Fragrance of this one is fresh and luxurious. It smells floral with hints of Jasmine, Rose and cedar wood.
Pour into the specified drawer in your machine. If you are at all unsure where this is, I would consult the machine's manual handbook. Using the cup, measure the following amounts :
for normal softness and scent use 2/3 cup or 35ml
for extra softness and scent use full cup or 55ml
for hand washing use 1/3 cup or 18ml
This particular variation of Lenor I would describe as a premium one. It is by far, much more luxurious than then other ones they produce. It smells delicious, as soon as you take the cap off, it the smell of jasmine hits your nose.
My clothes and towels smells great, especially the first time that you wrap them around yourself. They smell fresh and inviting. Once the clothes have been washed, the scent of jasmine does not last but the clothes are left smelling floral and fresh. After a wear, the clothes do not smell that fresh and it is mainly the first time you wear an item that you really get to experience the wonderful fragrance. Although disaapointed by this, it is common with most fabric softeners.
The Lenor makes clothes smoother and softer. When clothes are washed without it they dry stiffer and with more creases. With it, they are much softer and have less creases. This is particularly more obvious with my partner's shirts for work; they dry with less creases and less stiff. This means they are much easier to iron. Always a bonus; I think ironing is the worst of the household jobs!
For the cost, it is not the cheapest of fabric softeners but it is a touch of luxury and the scent is gorgeous. Whether I will shell out the money for this product when it is full price is debateable but I would highly recommend people try it. It is such a strong and nice smelling softener. The product is aimed at the afluent consumer and would not advise families use it as it is quite expensive. I will be looking out for this product when it is on offer as I would like to try it again.
Being a Comfort girl usually, the Lenor Ruby Jasmine fragrance is only the third Lenor product I have tried. The first was Breath of Fresh air which I loved, the second was Black diamond and Lotus flower, which I was not so keen on. Given my mixed experiences, I wasn't sure what I would think of this one.
The Ruby Jasmine fragrance comes in a red bottle to distinguish it from other products in the range and the front features a picture of a ruby and two jasmine flowers. Whilst the packaging is OK, I still prefer the curvy shape of the Comfort bottles to the rather boring squarish shaped Lenor ones. That said, the flattish shape of the Lenor ones make them easier to store, especially if you're short on space.
The conditioner is dermatologically tested, and promises a 'lush, exotic fragrance and sumptuous softness'.
Instructions for use are printed on the side of the bottle in the form of diagrams. It's not rocket science, you simply need to add between 2/3 and 1 full cap (depending on how soft you would like your washing to be), or 1/3 of a cap for hand washing.
The liquid is a pale pink in colour and the thickness is just right. I usually use a full capful for each wash. As soon as you open the bottle you can smell the conditioner, and I have to admit that I was a little disappointed by the scent. It's quite highly perfumed and I felt the floral scent was a little bit generic and nowhere near as luxurious as I had imagined. Although there was a jasmine type smell to it, it seemed to be mixed with the scent of something else I couldn't quite put my finger on - but whatever it was I didn't like it! I had hoped that once I actually used it, the scent would tone down and begin to smell nicer as it often does when diluted in the washing machine.
When I took my washing out of the machine, I found that it did have a fairly sweet floral scent to it, but it was not as strong as I had expected. On a more positive note, my clothes did seem to retain the scent well and the softener could still be smelled on them several days after washing.
In terms of softness I usually find it quite difficult to tell with these things, but I can confirm that this one definitely works. I stayed with my mother for several weeks last month and she washed my clothes without softener. I honestly didn't realise not using softener would make such a difference, but my clothes came out really stiff feeling without conditioner! As soon as I got home and started to use this again, it restored softness and my clothes started to feel normal again.
A 750ml bottle of this conditioner costs £2.24 from ASDA and will give you 21 washes.
Overall, this is another rather disappointing Lenor product in my opinion and I will not be making a repeat purchase. The smell is rather ordinary, and although it delivers softness and my clothes retain the scent, if I was to buy another Lenor product, I'd rather go back to using Breath of Fresh Air, which had a much nicer fragrance in my opinion.
I always use a fabric conditioner in every wash, so to make my clothing smell nice and fresh, and I just love the softness it give to fabrics, and if I have ever run out of it, which is very rarely, as I just dislike the feel of the clothes etc and especially my towels without using a conditioner, in fact I would go as far to say I rarely would wash my towels without a conditioner at all.
This one comes in a transparent plastic bottle and for a 750ml bottle it cost me just £1 from my local shop, which is a good price because they are priced much higher in some shops, the liquid is a thick one and once the screw off top is removed, the smell hits immediately, it smells lovely, it has a really nice fragrance, and the texture of the liquid is extremely soft and smooth.
As it is a concentrated liquid only a capful is needed for an average load, and so the bottle is for approximately 21 washes, I sometimes use a little extra and so I would say I have around 18 or so washes from this one, it is a very good quality indeed, and it makes the fabrics nice and soft to the touch, and my towels have always been nice and fluffy, and not at all hard, I sometimes dry my clothes in a tumble dryer, and the clothes are just as soft when dried this way too.
The smell of the clothes etc, is a nice one, this one is also good for my tiny grandchildren, I have a couple of babies born this year and sometimes they have left some of their clothes at my house, and I have washed them and they smell and feel nice for a babies skin, and they have never had any irritation with this one at all.
Clothes are so much easier to iron after a good quality conditioner is used but this one does soften the fabrics for a smoother ironing routine, and they smell lovely at the same time.
I have in the past tried lots of conditioners, and even bought some shops own brands, which I must add are very good too, but this one which is a well known brand is one I always buy on offer to save money, and I just love getting into bed at night when the bedding has been washed with this conditioner as the bedding smells lovely and fresh, the smell stays on the fabrics for a very long time, and when I go wear my clothes I can definitely smell the conditioner on them.
As it is a concentrated liquid the amount of washes per bottle is much larger and so I think it is a space saver sized bottle, as for anyone with larger families, the bottle sizes can be much larger for the amount of washes they obtain.
I recommend this one, especially when bought on offer as it is a very good quality and value for money product and worth the money, especially if bought on special offer.
I rate is 5 stars.
I love washing! I always use a beautifully fragrant fabric softener and I feel that good quality one's not only add a nice fragrance to fabrics but that it keeps them soft and easier to iron too. One of the ranges that I have been enjoying lately is the Lenor range and I have tried rather a few out so when I spotted this one on offer in Asda the other day I couldn't wait to get stuck into using it!
This is available in a variety of sizes, the one I picked up is the 1.5ml option and the fabric softener comes in a red plastic see-through bottle with a silver coloured plastic twist on/off lid to the top of. Around the middle of the bottle there is a red coloured label around it. On the front of that label there is a picture of a couple of flowers and or a ruby and I am told that it is Lenor Concentrate, Infusions 'Ruby Jasmine' and that it delivers 4x longer freshness V.S Lenor Classic & Lenor Pure Oxygen Freshness and that this particular sized bottle should give 42 washes. Other information on the bottle includes being told a bit about the product, I'm given directions for use and the size is stated (as I have listed already) and contact details for Procter & Gamble (the manufacturer of the product) are given. Nice, informative bottle this is and it looks nice!
The liquid itself is a very light pink (and I mean almost white with a hint of pink to it) and smells highly floral and strong but it really is really nice and smells quality and not faked at all! All you do to use this is to measure it out into the cap that is on the top of the bottle. It has no measurements on it but measurements and how much of the cap you need to fill is told clearly on the side of the bottle. You use 1.3 cap (35ml) of the liquid to add some softness to a full load of washing in a machine drawer or 1 capful (55ml) for a lot of softness to fabrics in a wash or 1/3 of a cap (18ml) for hand washing. For machine washing I simply select the amount I want and add it to the dispenser drawer but occasionally I do hand wash and after washing the clothes with washing detergent, I rinse them thoroughly and then rinse them through with this before giving a final clear water rinse to the fabrics.
This leaves fabrics smelling beautifully fragrant, and for days on end! Not only that this really does keep my fabrics feeling really soft and smooth and I feel this really aids ironing. I can store my clothes for days and still pick them up and they smell feminine and fresh and all in all I think this is a perfect, good quality fabric softener that even with a small amount it works really well! Lovely stuff!
Available in various sizes and in difference fragrances in all good supermarkets etc.

I don't tend to stick to the 1 kind of Fabric Softener. There is so many nice ones out there and anytime ones are on offer then I will try and see if I like.
This range from Lenor has been out quite a while now. I hung back trying them as they were kind of expensive compared to the same sized bottles in the same brand name. I think a 750ml bottle of this can cost anywhere up to £2.40 in places, but this was on offer for £1 in Asda about 6 weeks ago so I bought one of these to try after I had sniffed it first.
The bottle looks nice enough. Just like the Dooyoo picture. A nice deep red colour with the label going around the bottle. The 1 thing I don't like much is the grey coloured lid. Surely they could have picked a colour that wouldn't look so cheap compared to the rich expensive looking colouring of the bottle.
This is a Concentrate and states on the front that this does approx 21 washes. This will depend on how much you use for the load of wash that you are washing. You measure out in the cap and a full cap is for a full large load of washing, and so on.
The scent of this is lovely. It is a heavy rich scent, and you can smell the heady scent of Jasmine which is so nice. The Ruby part seems to be the other rich scent that seems a little bit fruitier compared to the more musky scent of the Jasmine.
This washes the clothes how I would expect it to, and although the scent on the clothes isn't as strong as how you smell it straight out the bottle it is a nice more subtle scent that seems to last on your clothes through the day and I could even smell this when I opened my Towel cupboard and got a subtle whiff a week later.
Really nice scent. Perhaps not worth the higher end price, but anything up to £1.50 and I would happily pay this for this.
Lenor is a laundry brand produced by Procter and Gamble. They offer a few different ranges of fabric softeners. These include Original Lenor Concentrate, Lenor Touch Effects and Lenor Infusions.
This is the the Ruby Jasmine fabric softener from the Infusions range.
There are 5 scents available in this range - Ruby Jasmine, Black Diamond and Lotus Flower, Amethyst Rose, Gold Orchid and Sapphire Violet.
All Lenor softeners have built in with Perfume Micro Crystals which diffuse in the wash and release fragrance as you wear your clothes.
Lenor Infusions is apparently supposed to have 4x longer fragrance compared to Lenor Classic and Lenor Pure Oxygen softeners.
The softener comes in a curvy rectangular plastic bottle. The bottle is an elegant dark red shade with a silver lid. The lid also doubles up as the measuring cup.
There is a label running around the bottle and is red inkeeping with the colour of the bottle. The front has the Lenor logo, scent, 4x freshness banner and wash amount. There is also an image of flowers and a ruby gemstone.
The back of the label has some blurb about the product. The directions for use, warnings, ingredients and contact details for the company can be found on the side panels.

*Availability and Price*
21 wash bottles or 750ml can be bought in supermarkets and other stores for around £2. Wilkinsons have this on offer at 98p at the moment.
I love gorgeous smelling and soft feeling laundry. Having bought my new washing machine recently and no longer having to go to the laundrette, I am taking more pride in doing my washing and trying out lots of different products. Normally I stick to Comfort as I can usually find these on offer in my local Wilkos. The offer this week though was for Lenor Infusions and given my obsession with fabric softeners, I picked this up.
I am not going to lie...other than the price, the reason I picked this up was due to the bottle. The dark red seems very sophisticated and rather elegant. It is also smaller than my Comfort bottles and slots nicely into my cupboard.
I like long lasting scent so I use a full cap alongside my soap powder. Opening the bottle, the scent omitting is very strong and floral. Pouring into the drawer, you can see a cute baby pink shade. This suprised me as I expected it to be red.
Once my washing was done, I opened the machine door and the scent was gorgeous. I am not a flowery person and much prefer sweet things. This is the case with cosmetics, perfume and fabric conditioners. The floral scent had been diluted but was still very evident. There was a slight exotic scent which was pleasant and I was happy that it wasn't completely floral.
I hung my clothes up and they were perfectly soft. My towels especially were extrememly soft and once dried felt fluffy. The scent on my towels was still evident when I removed them from my cupboard for use and they were brilliant to use when I got out the bath. It was like wrapping myself in luxury! My clothes also kept the scent well and even after wearing, the floral scent was still there and smelt absoultely lush.
I am over generous sometimes with my softener and usually get around 18 washes from a 21 wash bottle. At £1.98 I personally wouldn't pay this even though it worked well. As I buy so many different softeners, there is always one of more places having some on offer and I only buy it then.
Get down to Wilkos and pick this up!
Thanks for reading
Whilst I purchase many of shops' own brand products, such as beans, peas, spaghetti etc, one area where I simply can't penny pinch is washing powders and fabric conditioners.
I have to use powders and fabric conditioners that make my clothes smell fragrant, my towels nice and soft and my clean bedding has to have a gorgeous smelling aroma.
I have a few favourite fabric conditioners; one of which is Lenor Infusions and this review will look at their Ruby Jasmine fragrance.
Lenor is manufactured by Proctor and Gamble UK and since I joined dooyoo I have been surprised to read their name on so many products, particularly as I am scrutinising everything I buy in the hope I can review it!!
The fabric conditioner is concentrated and comes in a gorgeous cerise coloured slightly transparent bottle. The Lenor logo is situated across the middle of the label and there is an image of a ruby nestling in a bunch of jasmine flowers. The manufacturer claims you will be "seduced by the lush, exotic fragrance and sumptuous softness ..." Whilst this product is simply gorgeous, I'm still waiting to be seduced!
The most recent bottle I purchased has a bright yellow "new" sticker attached to it, but I'm sure I've been using this product for at least a year. However, there is a statement underneath the label stating "4 x longer lasting freshness vs. previous Lenor Ruby Jasmine, so I'm presuming this is simply a stronger fragrance than previous.
The bottle contains 750ml of the liquid, which is easily dispensed from the large opening after removing the screw top lid. As soon as I remove the lid, the fantastic aroma hits me. I'm not sure of the aroma of the jasmine flower, but the scent is simply stunning.
Whilst the front of the label states the bottle contains 21 washes, I am able to make my bottle last much longer. There are directions on the side of the bottle stating how much you should pour into the 55ml cap. To be honest, I never use the cap and just simply pour a very small amount into the draw of my washing machine. The product is runny but not too watery like some of the cheaper brands and is a pale pink in colour.
When removing my wet washing from the machine, the first thing I notice is the gorgeous aroma of the fabric conditioner. It doesn't matter whether I peg my washing on the line or tumble dry - it still smells considerably strong, but not overpowering.
I stopped using fabric conditioner a few years ago as I was trying to save money, but found my clothes, particularly trousers were full of static. I also missed the delicate aroma on my clothes and bed linen. There is nothing more satisfying than getting into a freshly made bed and being able to smell this fabric conditioner - sheer bliss! I also found without a fabric conditioner that my towels and jeans were drying like boards.
I find the scent lasts on my clothes nearly all day long, but it's not overpowering. I always find that when I open my wardrobe I can smell the fragrance on previously washed clothes. Aswell as the gorgeous aroma, this fabric conditioner will leave your washing feeling beautifully soft.
This product has been dermatologically tested and the bottle can be recycled once empty.
A 750ml bottle Lenor Infusions costs £2 in Tesco, but is frequently on offer for £1. I tend to stockpile when it's on offer and so far I've been lucky and never had to pay full price!
Such a fantastic product has to have 5 dooyoo stars from me.
I hope you found my review useful and I would thank you for reading.
I have to do so many loads of washing in a week and I am always trying to find powder or conditioner to make my clothes smell nice. I like to have nice smelling bed sheet and think there is nothing better than getting into bed when they smell nice and are clean. My mother in law came a few weeks ago when I was ill and bought some Lenor concentrate for my washing. I noticed that my whole house smelt nice when I was drying the washing in the living room. When it ran out I decided to try a different one of the Lenor concentrate range to see what they were like.
This one is Infusions Ruby and Jasmine and comes in a red plastic bottle. The reason that I bought this one is because it looked very adult and calming and couldn't wait to try it. It has a silver cap that screws on and is easy to open and close. It states that it has 4 times longer lasting freshness to the previous Lenor ruby and jasmine, I am not sure about this due to it is the first time that I have used it. It also states that it will last for 21 washes, mine doesn't last 21 washes due to I think I may use too much in my wash. You are not supposed to use too much due to it is concentrated to make it last longer. It still lasts me around 18 washes so that is not too bad to be honest, 18 washes in my house is about 4 weeks washing and for just over £1 this is good value for money. If you are able to find it on a deal which adsa sometimes do it for £1 it is definitely worth trying.
It is a 750ml bottle and it is surprising how far it does go. It is easy to hold and pour which is good due to some fabric conditioners are very big and heavy which makes it hard to pour. You are able to use the cap to pour the conditioner into to measure it out to save using too much of it. I have a habit of not using the cap which is why I use so much of it.
It states to indulge your senses with the infusions collection which they do around 4 different fragrances in this range and it is developed by Lenor and Bold 2 in 1 I didn't know that they were developed by bold 2 in 1 which interested me due to I use there fabric powder and think that has a lovely smell too.
I have found that it has such a fragranced smell that is not too strong but keeps your clothes smelling clean and gently perfumed. When your clothes are just washed is when the fragrance is the strongest and it is lovely to have hanging in my living room drying if I am not able to hang it outside. I find my washing is like a nice smelling air freshener and love to sit down and relax with the smell around me. It is a very grown up smell which is like an expensive perfume, I find the fragrance of this very relaxing and I seem to have a lovely sleep when my sheets have been washed in this. I have also noticed that my clothes that have been washed in it and hung up smell like this very faintly after a week hung up, so it is comforting that I know my clothes are going to still smell nice when I get them out.
When my washing is dry I notice that the clothes are still very soft and some stubborn stains are also removed better than when I am using the other brands. My partner is very funny about his clothes being soft and due to using less conditioner I was expecting him to complain instead he has complemented me and the softener.
It does have how to use instructions on the side of the bottle which are easy to understand and are explained with easy to see picture instructions which is good. It also has the danger warnings on the side of the bottle which is easy to understand too.
I think this Ruby and Jasmine fragrance is very nice and adult fragranced. I think that the bottle lasts a long time and is good value for money. I think the fragrance is relaxing and lasts a long time on the clothes. I think that it washes very well and does make clothes very soft for so little of it being used. I would advise people to try this and get into a lovely smelling bed that has soft sheets and get a relaxing nights sleep too.
Fabric softeners are just much of a muchness right? No wrong!
I would normally just have a little sniff and if it smelled ok then I would buy it but all that was before I discovered Lenor Infusions Ruby Jasmine Fabric Softener, now I simply won't use anything else.
There are a few nice scents in the new infusions range but the ruby jasmine is by far the best. It not only smells beautiful but it gives the clothes and bed sheets a wonderful softness and a feeling they have just never had before.
A tiny amount of this per wash is all that is needed so a typical bottle costing around £2.45 will last me a good long time.
The bottle is bright deep red and looks as good as it is so you cannot miss it if you go looking for a bottle which you definitely should.
It is concentrated so you should just use the said amount as too much will be overpowering smell wise and you will not rinse out properly.
I just had to write a review about this fabric softener from Lenor because it smells absolutely divine, which is exactly what you want from a fabric softener.
Lenor have brought out a range called Infusions, which basically have a stronger and more unique and diverse range of fragrances. I think it is essentially the same conditioner but they get to charge more for it because shallow people like me fall for all the marketing and the brightly coloured bottles and think we must try them!
Well I tried the Ruby and Jasmine fabric softener and I am in love! The scent is so floral and deep. We have our washing machine in the basement and even after I have emptied the machine, whenever I go down there I can smell the fragrance from this product. The scent stays in my clothes for weeks after I have washed them. It is so nice to put on a jumper that has been stuck in a drawer for weeks and for it to smell nice.
My clothes stayed soft as well. It works no better or worse than ordinary lenor in terms of softening fabric. It is the scent that is amazing!
This fabric softener is concentrated, which I think helps with making the smell last on clothes. It also means that it uses less packaging, creates less carbon miles and takes up less space in your cupboard.
The bottle is bright red and so stands out on the shelf against the usual pastel shades that fabric softener is usually packaged in.
This is a really great product - I demand you buy it! And I am not even on commission! I bought mine for about £3 in a local shop.
The new Lenor Infusions are being marketed as an exotic and seductive fabric softener. You no doubt have seen the television ad's where beautiful women are lounging around enjoying the luxurious smell of their laundry and walking down the street engulfed in the fragrant smell from their dress, well that is for this new Lenor brand.
Now, I'm not too sure how a fabric softener can be seductive, I don't find a pile of my husbands smelly socks that nice, but I've been using it for a while now and have to say that I do rather like the products.
Lenor is produced by Proctor and Gamble and has been around since the 1960's. They come in a number of different smells which are as follows:
Black Diamond and Lotus Flower - elegant and sophisticated
Amethyst Rose - mysterious and enticing
Sapphire Violet - vibrant and exhilarating
I am concentrating this review however on the Ruby Jasmine fragrance. I had been using the Black Diamond and Lotus flower but I found the smell was a bit too overpowering for me so I decided to try another variety.
The bottle was packaged amazingly and did look really nice. You could tell it was Lenor as the name was written on it and it did look a bit like their other products but I would say the bottle was designed more like an upmarket perfume bottle. The Ruby Jasmine bottle has a lovely picture of what I assume to be a white jasmine flower on the front with a lovely big ruby next to it sparkling away! The bottle was a gorgeous ruby red colour and an almost jewel looking colour to it. The tag line of this softener says it is meant to be elegant and sophisticated. Well, going by the bottle, this was definitely true to start with.
Apparently, according to their website if you use this fragrance you are, "Frequently bold, often rather daring and always very passionate - people can't fail to notice you at a social gathering. They instantly warm towards your confident personality, making you the one that everybody want to know." Now, although this may be true I would say it really doesn't have anything to do with the type of fabric softener I use but I see what Lenor are trying to do and the way they are trying to market this. I just use it because I like the look and smell.
What was nice about this variety was that it didn't have quite a strong a smell as the other fragrances when you opened the carton. It was quite flowery and had a nice clean smell to it. As it is concentrate we only used a little bit which was nice and this did go a long way. After washing we hang our clothes up in the house to dry naturally. When we came upstairs after a few hours you could still definitely smell the fabric softener, but in a nice clean, just out of the machine way. Then when I wore my clean shirt to work the next day I could still smell the Lenor. The freshness I find lasts for as long as you need to wash your shirt again so definitely a good product.
According to their website the results of the survey were as follows:
"Seduction is considered to be a lost art among British women, as almost half of them (49%) do not believe they are seductive. Blaming lack of confidence and hectic lifestyles, they believe that seduction mostly happens in the movies (51%)." With the Ruby Jasmine variety, "The Lush, exotic fragrances and sumptuous softness are the perfect match for your flamboyance and lust for life, and are sure to seduce you."
Now, I can kind of see what Lenor are trying to do, spice up a women's life when it comes to her everyday chores. It's great that they are giving women confidence and trying to make them feel seductive but I really don't think that this marketing direction will work for too long, it's a bit irrelevant, the products are nice but I don't think they need this much pushing.
The nice thing about Lenor Infusions is that it is a concentrate so apparently again according to their website you use 70% less packaging per wash than you would with regular Lenor. This is a definite selling factor for me as it is good for the environment and also good in these times of bi-weekly rubbish collection when you can't afford to fill your bin up with bulky plastic containers.
All in all, despite all the hype and marketing this is still a good product that I would recommend.
