Advantages: Lovely fragrance, good value, concentrated, good brand

With the purchase of my new washing machine last year I decided to no longer use fabric softener as on the whole it had not done my old machine any favours. I also had started to feel that no matter what fabric softener I used there was not really any marked improvement to really warrant its use.

Well old habits die hard and six months down the road fabric softener found its way into my shopping basket. I tried of few of the new variants before I came across Lenor Sleep Sensations and I have to say that I am impressed with this product.

Lenor have always made good fabric softener that tends to be irritation free. Lenor is manufactured by Procter and Gamble UK. Their new range of fragrances is imaginative and on the whole pretty good. Sleep sensations is mid blue colour which is almost lilac or mauve. As it is a concentrate if you sniff the pure product in the bottle it is a very heady scent which seems to be a mixture of lavender and flowers.

The bottle stresses one capful and no more and I have found that true. Too much and the scent would be overpowering plus there would be an unnecessary and possibly damaging amount of softener released into your washing. However if you use the recommended amount your laundry will smell perfumed in a pleasant way. I use it on all my washing but I guess the smell will not appeal to all men.

On bedding it is lovely. The lingering fragrance lasts for quite a while and freshens up your bedroom into the bargain. I also love the smell on towels and underwear. I think though this Lenor is called Sleep Sensations as it has a restful fragrance. Well this works for me but it wont for everyone. It does not however help you sleep if lack of sleep is an issue.

The bottle I bought had 33% more washes and so there was one litre of concentrate for around £1.49. This Lenor does go a really long way. The packaging stresses that buying a concentrated fabric softener is more eco friendly as there is less packaging needed and so less transportation is needed preventing damaging exhaust fumes. I am not so sure about the logic of all these statements but they do basically make sense.

Overall

For me Lenor Sleep Sensations fabric softener's main attraction is the refreshing but flowery fragrance. It does soften laundry but to my mind equally as well as many others. What it does have though is that smell. Ahhh.
