Advantages: lovely fragrance, leaves fabrics really soft, gentle on skin

Disadvantages: can be a little expensive when not on offer

I will admit that I do not always use fabric softener but when I do one of my favourites is Lenor, Spring Awakening. Lenor is made by Procter and Gamble and be be purchased from most larger supermarkets.

My last purchase of the Lenor Spring Awakening was from Tesco and a 750ml bottle which contains enough for 21 washes cost just £1.00. This was on a special offer promotion and the current cost for the same size bottle is £1.99 so I felt that I got quite a bargain. You can also purchase the Lenor spring awakening as well as other fragrances in the range in larger bottles.

The fabric softener comes in a clear plastic bottle with a blue screw on cap. Once you unscrew the cap it acts as the measuring facility for the fabric softener allowing you to pour the desired amount into the cap then directly into the drum of the machine. The bottle has a warp around plastic label which contains all the necessary information that you need to know about the fabric softener on including directions for use, ingredients and warnings.

The fabric softener is blue in colour and has quite a strong fragrance that you can smell as soon as you open the bottle. It is suggested that you use 2/3 of a cap of the softener to obtain soft washing, a full cap to get extra soft washing and 1/3 of a cap for hand washing. When I do use this fabric softener I do tend to be quite heavy handed with it and tend to use the full cap. Although I do use fabric softener on clothing sometimes I do tend to mostly use it on sheets and towels. I find that the Lenor spring awakening works brilliantly as it not only leaves my garments especially towels really soft and fluffy but also with a lovely fresh, clean fragrance. The Lenor spring awakening has a fresh but slightly floral fragrance which even when garments have been dry for several days still can be smelt. I also have quite sensitive skin but have never had any adverse reaction to the fabric softener. Overall I think this is high quality fabric softener which works perfectly to leave fabrics soft and fresh smelling. Although this fabric softener can be quite expensive it is has excellent results and it is certainly worth looking out for special offers.

Summary: A lovely fragranced fabric softner which lasts
