In the past couple of years I have skin that has become even more sensitive than ever before. I have to be very careful with the washing liquids and products that I use now as using something that doesn't agree with me can lead to an excessive need to itch throughout the day (and night too if I've washed my bedding!) so I try to stick to brands that I know and trust more now and while I do still enjoy trying something new I also like to return to staples that I know work well for me and my fussy skin too and this is why I use Lenor and this fragrance, 'the blue one' as its known by myself and my husband. This is called 'Spring awakening' but I'm sure I remember it having a more simple name growing up when my Mum used to send me down to the corner shop for it!

Once a month, roughly, I head off to Asda with my husband and a couple of our friends and we do a 'big' shop and then share the car home to save on costs. Asda is not far from where I love but we get lots of heavy items and help each other get them upstairs when we make it home. I seem to almost always buy my washing liquids and fabric softeners from Asda and there are frequent special offers. Last time I purchased Lenor, 'the yellow one' as we know it the 85 wash packet was reduced to just £3.00 from £6.00-£7.00 and when I had finally run out I found this blue one on offer for £3.00 too which pleased me no end, particularly as I picked up the very last bottle! This is a 3 litre bottle and I must say now that I ALWAYS manage to stretch any washing related product further than the packet advises while still having clothes that smell lovely and are cared for in the washing machine.

This fabric conditioner comes in a large plastic container that is very light in colour so you can see how much liquid you have left and there is a large blue plastic cap (the measuring cap). It is very heavy as it contains 3 litres of liquid, however, it is simple to hold thanks to the large handle and the cap is simple to remove even with someone suffering carpal tunnel problems. The packaging is strong and sturdy and survives me hoisting it up from the floor by the washing machine and plonking it back down again after use too. There is no child safety cap but I have no children unsupervised in my home anyway so that is fine.

This scent is labelled as being 'spring awakening' and smells just how I remember it! There is quite a floral scent to this fabric softener but it is light enough to avoid being overpowering. This scent is described as being 'wrapped in the scent of spring flowers' and I would definitely agree with that. I feel fresh when I smell this scent and I feel like my clothes smell lovely when I put them on in the morning or get ready for work. There is not really any sweetness to this fabric softener but its not necessary and would just detract from the lovely scent of this liquid.

My clothes are a little less crinkled, could be because I'm getting to the machine quicker once its finished though, and generally my clothes feel soft and lovely after using this. I find that 1/4 capful is plenty but for the first few uses I find it difficult to pour the liquid and something fill up too much, however I can just pour it back in to the bottle if I'm that worried about it.

In all I would definitely recommend this. The smell is lovely and leaves my clothes feeling and looking great.
