Lenor Infusions Burst of Sunshine - Feel invigorated

Lenor is a brand name of fabric softener and paper towels produced by Procter & Gamble and is sold in Europe. It has been around since the 1960's.

Their new range of fabric softeners are called Touch Effects and they are the first Lenor collection to release invigorating bursts of freshness. Basically, once you have washed your clothes using this fabric softener the smell will stay on your clothes and then when you move about in them or touch them during the day the smell will actually come out of the clothes. I have to say that this actually does work exactly like this. It's quite amazing actually but I do find that if I touch my clothes after wearing them all day I can smell the fabric softener on them. It is not as strong as the first time you put on the items but you can smell it and it does keep them nice and fresh for a long time

Lenor are marketing these fabric softeners on the important role of touch in every day situations. On their website they say that touch is important in creating and maintaining a strong, lasting bond between people and that by incorporating touch into your life it will make every day moments with loved ones more special. I do see where they are coming from as I find a hug at the end of a hard day from my husband always works wonders.

They also say that their new touch effects technology is a benefit for when say you heading out to a social event after work and you want to remain smelling fresh and clean. These new fabric softeners will help you with that.

Also, according to their website, 91% of us would like to spend more time with family and friends and that a hug for loved ones will leave both parties feeling uplifted and more comfortable. If we can do that and having a uplifiting aroma come out of out clothes then more the better.

The new Lenor Touch Effects come in three new fragrances, Breathe of Fresh Air which comes in a blue bottle, Barefoot in the Grass which comes in a green bottle and Touch of Sunshine which comes in a yellowy/orange bottle. It is the Touch of Sunshine that I am going to look at as this is the one I am using at the moment.

Like I said the bottle is an orangey colour and has Lenor written on the front along with a picture of some flowers on it. The liquid is in concentrate form and it says that you can get 21 washes out of a 750ml bottle but I would definitely say that I get way more washes than this. The smell is quite strong so I only use a liitle bit of the liquid and it still works really well. According to their website you use 70% less packaging per wash than you would with regular Lenor. This is a definite selling factor for me as it is good for the environment and also good in these times of bi-weekly rubbish collection when you can't afford to fill your bin up with bulky plastic containers.

Touch of Sunshine has a lovely flowery smell to me that is not too overpowering even though it does last a long time. The smell is said to be a mixture of fresh jasmine and green leaves with a hint of cassis and will add a touch of sunshine to a winters day by revitalising your senses with a bright invigorating freshness. You can purchase a bottle for £1.94.

Nice review! But I'm not sure I'd want to go to a social event smelling of fabric conditioner. And it must really be full of chemicals if it still releases a scent by the evening after a full day's wear.

Not sure about this stuff about 'touch' and 'loved ones', I think Lenor should leave the philosophy and poetry well alone and stick to making good fabric softeners!
