I was looking for a new topic to write on and I saw Marks and Spencer’s room fragrance. Having this morning made my classroom smell nice and Christmassy with Marks and Spencer’s festive spice burner and pot pouri refresher oil, I just had to write and tell you about it. Packaged in a bright red box with white writing. Cost £1.50 now on offer, 3 for the price of two I believe. Available in most Marks and Spencer shops. Use as a burner oil or to refresh pot pouri full instructions are given in the box. Is it the dog? Is it the bin? Is it the fried fish? Is it something more ominous? Whatever it is this room perfume does the trick. Many airfresheners just seem to mask smells and, I must confess, they make me feel quite sick. There is something in most of these thats starts asthma off in susceptible people. Not so with this product. Marks and Spencers has been getting a name for charging high prices for products that you can buy elsewhere at a much lower price but in this case that is not so. Visitors at the door! What's the first thing you do? I wonder if like me, you immediately reach for the air freshener to mask the smell of the hot pot you've just made, or worse the kippers your husband had the night before for his supper.....yuk. In most instances however, the masking smell from the air freshener is worse. So many have a cloying sickly smell, or a slightly disinfectant odour.
