... have to polish for longer. It brings the stainless steel up to a very nice shine and does clean effectively, according to the manufacturer's website it also leaves a protective layer. The odour is not unpleasant, it smells a bit soapy on use but doesn't leave your stainless steel smelling particularly. I first came across this product when I had a very hard to clean Stoves range oven. Prior to owning this I hadn't realised that there were grades of stainless steel - apparently this must have been a lower grade as it w...more

I'm a big fan of Method products for their general lack of nasties, being naturally derived products which, according to the blurb on the bottle are "people-freindly, skin-friendly, lung-friendly". A couple of years ago we had a brand spanking new kitchen fitted. It came with all the latest mod-cons, you know, a sink, taps, clever machines that could store and cook food as well as wash the dirty dishes afterwards and also a gloriously sleek and shiny stainless steel splashback behind the really technical Bosch hob. Oh, how proud I was. Just like a new mother I was. Until I realised splashbacks don't have that name for nothing. Indeed, they did seem to be at the back of a lot of my cooking splashes. Oh, how annoyed I was. Just like a mother with a crying baby. The baby kept crying "clean me mummy". But, how on earth was I to keep it quiet ...  Read the complete review
