... cleaning. So she bought the Glass & Polishing E-cloth from Lakeland, which costs £4.88. They are simple cloths that have millions of tiny micro fibres to get rid of the dirt. It measures 50 x 40cm and you can use them wet or dry. It's great that you don't need to use any detergents, so it's kind to the environment and also to the skin on your hands. The initial outlay for these cloths might seem quite expensive, but they claim you can wash them up to 300 times and they will still be just as effective at...more

I love trying out new things and I hate cleaning windows - add these two facts together and it was just obvious that I had to give E-cloth a try. E-cloth is a microfibre cloth sold at Lakeland. The claims ~~~~~~~ I got a little leaflet sent through to me by Lakeland Ltd when I made a purchase with them extolling the virtues of the E-cloth. They claimed it was a high quality cloth which cleans all hard surfaces using just water. This seemed a bit optimistic to me but I thought it was worth a try especially seeing their list of advantages: No chemicals needed Cleans grease from all hard surfaces No smearing Fully washable ...  Read the complete review

My fiancé's mum was getting really stressed about cleaning the shower cubicle. Even though the glass is supposed to be made from a special material which means it doesn't get dirty, it was really suffering from limescale and horrible streaks. We all use a window cleaner squeegee to scrape off the water after showering, but this wasn't eliminating the build up of grime. She's tried a load of different bathroom cleaners to no avail. So I suggested she try E-cloths as I'd heard they were amazing at cleaning. So she bought the Glass & Polishing E-cloth from Lakeland, which costs £4.88. In my bid to make my life more eco-friendly one cupboard that needed serious review was my cleaning cupboard. With several different bottles 'needed' to cater for the different surfaces in my home I dread to think how many chemicals were in them all. My mum had recommended the Microfibre cloths that were currently being sold in our Poundland, £1 for three. My mum used to be a domestic worker in the local maternity hospital back when the ward matron would use a white glove to check the surfaces, so you can imagine how clean she likes her house to be. The packaging that holds the cloths together states that it is 'made from a unique microfibre ...  Read the complete review

I was not with Heather the day she bought a pack of "JML 3D Ultra Fibre Cloths", from Makro. She had visited the Edinburgh store with our two daughters, on a day-long shopping trip that also encompassed Matalan and the Gyle Shopping Centre (and Yes ! Our GM card did take a 'belting' that day ... our daughters took months to pay me back for their 'share'...). As they sat down to the evening meal (prepared by ME !), our daughters were laughing at Heather over one particular purchase made at Makro, upon which she darted out to the car and came back in triumph with a pack of "JML 3D Ultra Fibre Cloths". Becoming rather bored ...  Read the complete review
