I bought Milton Sterilising Tablets for when my family and I went abroad recently. Sterilising abroad was made easy with these tablets. In one box you get 28 tablets, all for approximately £2.00. You need one tablet for every 5 litres of water. I only had quite a small box for sterilising, which my Tommee Tippee Breast Pump had come in. Therefore, I only put in half a tablet with the water. However, it meant that I had to put about three loads in. It takes 15 minutes to sterilise all the equipment and it states that the sterilising solution is good for 24 hours. This was handy because it meant that if my baby had dropped all his dummies in the day, then I could just pop it in the solution before we went out again in the night. One box of sterilising tablets will last you for a two week holiday abroad.

I have also started using this in the house now, in addition to my Tommee Tippee Steam Steriliser. I use the solution to put his dummies and bowls and spoons in to ensure that they are completely sterilised. They say that you do not have to sterilise the bowls, but I get paranoid about everything being clean to I just pop them in there. They are instantly clean after 15 minutes.
