In reality the product was a little disappointing when I opened up the box, a mass of curly metal to assemble, but I perservered. It was very easy to make with the four tiers just screwing together. As it took shape, the item did begin to look better but I must admit it was overall smaller than Id imagined.

On looking around for cake stands for my daughters birthday cake, I came upon 'cupcake stands'. They looked quirky and I soon came to love the idea of little cupcakes that I wouldnt have to cut up instead of the usual supermarket £10 cake. My first trip was to Lakeland where the cheapest cupcake stand was in excess of £35 which I considered too steep for the use I would give it, Argos was my next stop but their cupcake stands didnt hold the cakes individually.
