I hate washing dishes, however it's a case that I have to as am not one of those people that own a dishwasher and for reason I have never really thought about buying one, I just think it's the easy option if you can afford or if you have the space for one. I always share the washing up with my other half, and I always tend to wash, as much as I dislike washing, I detest drying even more.

I have used many washng up liquid over the years however I tend to always opt for Morning Fresh Liquid these days.

Morning Fresh is made by Cusson's and has been around for a number of years, I remember when I was growing up that it was always the Fairy Liquid adverts that stuck in my head, however it was Morning Fresh that my mother used to by.

***The Packaging***

The product comes in a neat see through container with the Manufacturer name Cusson's and bubbles around the neck embost into the plastic. The front label contains the produc name, Morning Fresh obviously, the fragrance of the actual product and the claims that it makes which change so often when they decide to reformulate or improve the product. In this case, they claim: Triple Action with Sparkle. Cleans. Sparkles. Freshens. On the reverse it give a more detailed explanation of the product, details of where it is manufactured and where you should contact if you have any problems, and an explanation of how to use, which to be honest I think it is easiest enough to use.

***The Product***

The one I tend to buy is Zesty Lemon, purely because I think that the frangrance is slightly nicer than the others available, however the product itself does not differ, its each to there own and what they were prefer to smell when washing the dishes.

The contents are 500ml however in a lot of shop and on a regular basis I find that Cusson's run promotional deals on morning fresh and you can a lot of the obtain a larger container for the same price. 50% extra free, which is great bargain if you drop on well.

WIth morning fresh when you run the water you only need a very small smount to create bubble in the water, by putting too much can create too many bubbles which are not necessary and just a waste of the product.

I find that when I use a scourer with Morning Fresh if the dishes are in the water are it is running, you do not have to put too much effort in to clean them, and the come up clean in no time. Even on the toughest of crease or subborn stains on plates, glasses dishes, casserole dishes etc, if left in soak for a little while when you come to give them a scrub, the washing up liquid has already cut through most of the grease and grime and the plates etc come up sparkly in no time, with no hard work needed to be involved in such an easy task with a product like this.

Cusson'a claim that Morning Fresh leaves your crocks sparkly and I can agree with that especially on he like of saucepans that you can see your face in, they comeup extremely well and look just like new.

***Fragrances***

Available in: Origial (Green), Zesty Lemon (Yellow) and Wildflower Melody (Purple). The Wildflower Melody doesn't seem to be stocked everywhere, however the other two fragragrances are readily available. As Cusson's make Carex too, they have also launched a version that contains Carex, which is more protective to you hand when washing the dishes.

***Where to Buy***

Morning Fresh is widely available and should be available to buy in all major Supermarket's. It is also probably one of the preferred products within this category for smaller shops, convenience stores and wholesalers, because of the competitive price that is aimed towards people that want a quality product at a low price.

***What is the price***

As mentioned I feel that this product is extremely competitive, I would not position it at the top, as I think Fairy has held this position for a long time, however in terms of quality, its on the same level, at a lower price of around 69 - 89p depending on where you purchase the product from.

***The competition***

1. Fairy LIquid has been around for years and when thinking of washing up liquids, this would probably be the one that jumps into people's head first because of the amount of money that has ben invested into advertising campaigns. Although it is a quality product, it is that little bit more expensive, which may put people off as they are buying the brand name.

2. Supermarket Branded Goods

Everyone purchase's there own supermarket's branded good, and majority of people probably spend 50% of there shopping bill on non branded products, however I feel that this kind of product you cannoy scrimp on and need to pay that little bit extra for a more quality product.

3. Cheap Products - unfortunately I cannot remember the name of this product however I have seen it in Tesco on the bottom of the shelf. It is available in Yellow and PInk and I have tried both of them. It's pricedat 49p, and although it smells really nice, the downside is that no matter how long you leave your dishes to soak, it takes a good time to get any grime off them.

***Why Buy Morning Fresh***

Value for money definitely, a 500ml bottle lasts quite a long time, over a month, doing the dishes twice a day. It cleans well, smells great, and all at a really good price. Can't go wrong with it.

I buy the Zesty Lemon one too - I think this brand is far superior to the competition - even Fairy!
