Advantages: Foamy, long lasting

Disadvantages: Old fashioned design

Take: 1 bottle of Morning Fresh
2 litres of cheap strong cider
1 fountain located in city centre

Wait until dark (just after 2am is best) and proceed to your selected fountain, having previously consumed your White Lightning or equivalent. The ideal fountain should be one that has as many water shoots as possible.

Open your bottle of Morning Fresh and empty the entire contents into the fountain.

Retreat to a distance and watch as the entire fountain and surrounding pavement areas are turned into a mass of bubbling foam!

This can also be carried out without the use of the cider but you won?t find the foaming fountain as funny.

So, Morning Fresh is excellent at turning city centres into foam-ridden zones but is it any good for using to wash your dishes?

I used to be a fan of the vividly coloured Persil variety but, in their infinite wisdom, they do not seem to produce this any more (or, at the very least they no longer stock it at my nearest retailer). I tried another Persil type but it wasn?t as effective. I tried a supermarket?s own label but again was disappointed and so I turned to Morning Fresh.

At 59p for 500 ml Morning Fresh is cheaper than Persil and not much more expensive than the supermarket?s own brand. I wasn?t tremendously hopeful as I selected it from the shelf and this is probably due to the uninspiring nature of the packaging. The label is very traditional in appearance and does not stand out from the shelf. It comes in original (coloured green) or zesty lemon (no prizes for guessing this liquid?s colour) but no other modern zany varieties are available.

When I took my purchase home I was to be pleasantly surprised. Whenever I did a bout of washing up (we are a household of two and only wash up once per day) I only needed one bowlful of water with a dash of Morning Fresh. This was sufficient to wash up all our mugs, plates and even pans from our evening meal and th
ere was always foam left at the end. In addition to this the bottle seems to have great staying power as a 500 ml bottle seems to last us about a month!

As for whether it is kind on your hands, I have noticed that over the past couple of months while we have been using this brand that my hands have not been as dry as they had been in the past. However, I cannot say for sure whether this is due to my choice of washing up liquid or to other factors. What I can say is that Morning Fresh has definitely not had an adverse reaction on my skin and, I suspect, quite the opposite.

I am now a firm fan of Morning Fresh and recommend it highly. However, I am looking forward to when they start to supply it in rabbit shaped bottles and bring out new fragranced varieties such as honeysuckle, chocolate ice cream or pina colada!

Can imagine it being a laugh after a few drinks but If I did it in Birmingham City Centre Victoria Square Fountain the Police would be onto me as there are security camera's on the square. Great up and thanks for adding me to your COF nice to be noticed by a Member for once.
