These days everyone is after saving the pennies, when there is no need to spend more on an item why bother. Last year I started changing were I shopped my local Tesco's didn't seem as great as it used to and I started going to Morrison's. Doing this meant I had to trial what value products of theirs were usable. One of those products was their Value sponge scourers that all super markets seem to do. Morrison's value Sponge scourers come in a pack of eight and are wrapped in a clear plastic wrapper apart from one side which is coloured in Morrison's trade mark yellow which they use for all their value range. I find my trolley seems to get brighter and ... Read the complete review

~Sponge Scourers~ As with other supermarkets, Morrisons offer a basic range of products. In this case, this range is the Savers range. This range includes lots of cleaning products and today I will focus on the Sponge Scourers. Presented in a simple, clear plastic wrapper is a stack of five scourer sponges. These scourer sponges can be used with detergent for cleaning jobs or alongside washing up liquid for doing the dishes. It is advised that you do not used them on non-stick cookware. A pack of 5 sponge scourers is currently priced at 19p in Morrisons. ~My Thoughts~ I have been doing my shopping in Morrisons for ... Read the complete review

I picked these scourers up during my last shopping trip at Morrisons. I usually go to Home Bargains for cleaning products and the like, but I doubted I would get these any cheaper elsewhere as they currently cost 19p for 5 scourers! They are part of Morrisons value range, so the packaging reflects this, but who cares when they're going to be tucked away in the cupboard under the sink. The scourers are quite thin, so instead of being a good inch and a half tall like the thick ones, these are about an inch or less. Although this makes them easier to get in and out of glasses and so on, it does mean they're not as sturdy. I often find that when I put pans in ... Read the complete review

What is more useful than a sponge, To rub away at all the grunge, That sticks to the pots and pans, And, unfortunately (admittedly) hands? However, sponges can be Expensive - unfortunately. This is where the Morrisons' sponges come in, At 99p for six, it feels like a win. Not only is it a humble sponge, - this is where, to your local Morrisons' you will lunge - As on its back it also scours, So you are not scraping off food remnants for hours. There is no compromise on cleaning ability, (though the squeezing part is down to the cleaner's agility). Bright yellow mainly, with a dark ... Read the complete review

When cleaning and washing up I use sponge scourers. I find that they are very efficient. I have bought them from many places before and find they differ slightly between the different brands and I really like these Morrisons ones. The sponge scourers are yellow and the scourer part is green. They are the usual size of a scourer but seem to be quite dense so the thickness is better and the sponge as a whole is more robust. I tend to use these whilst washing up. I use both sides. The sponge side is good for wiping down the pots and removing little bits and the scourer side is really useful and efficient for when I need to get more stubborn food off ...
