I have always brought in the past many stores own branded bathroom cleaner purely because the more branded products like Mr Muscle had always been that tad more expensive and I figured there wouldn't be that much difference between them all so have always opted for the cheapest - until recently that it.

After taking a trip to Wilkinsons I found Mr Muscle Bathroom & Toilet Cleaner on offer for just 99p which to me was a bargain so I grabbed a bottle. This price put it in line with many other unbranded contenders I have used in the past & surprisingly you really could tell the difference in quality between the two products.

Mr Muscle Bathroom & Toilet Cleaner comes in a 500ml white plastic bottle with spray nossle which can be turned on or off to prevent accidental usage.

To use you simply pull the trigger and spray directly onto required cleaning surface. It is suitable for use on all areas of your bathroom including tiles, taps and porcelain. It is also suitable to be used on plastic and enamel products.

As with other products of a similar kind I have tried this one doesn't have an over-whelming scent, in fact it is pretty odourless which for me is fine provided it does the job its supposed to.

The adverts for Mr Muscle products always look a bit false in my opinion but I have to say that I will now eat my words. One spray and one wipe with this stuff & you do find a gleaming surface underneath. Its brought my bathroom up a treat with very minimal effort on my part. The fact that it only needs one spray to clean a substancial area means that it also lasts longer than cheaper brands too as a little goes a long way with Mr Muscle.

Another positive with regards to Mr Muscle Bathroom Cleaner is that it leaves no mildew or resin marks/lines as other products can do. When you spray the trigger you are not getting a liquid out the bottle, more of a 'frothy' effect meaning less marks are left on your bathroom furniture.

The usual guidelines are stated on the bottle i.e keep out of reach of children & avoid eye contact - all standard stuff really & more common sense than anything. It does state to rinse off as soon as sprayed onto a surface to get maximum effect.

The product is anti-bacterial and states that it helps prevent limescale too. When not on offer a bottle of this costs between £1.40 - £1.80 depending on where you shop which is a little excessive compared to supermarkets own branded products but I have to reluctantly admit it is worth it - though is even better if you can get it on offer at Wilkinsons which it very often is.

All in all a great cleaner and is a cut above the rest of its competitors. The adverts aren't so far fetched after all. I would give it a 5/5 and would highly recommend it. As much as I would like to I can't really find a fault with it, so out goes my cheap cleaner & now Mr Muscle has a regular place in my cupboard.
