Advantages: antibacterial, easy to use

Disadvantages: lingering smell, attaches itself to food like a magnet!

Eeeeeek, I never want to see/smell or indeed TASTE this stuff again!

I recently moved into a new flat and the previous inhabitants had left the kitchen in a less than perfect state. Now I am absolutely obsessional about cleanliness in the kitchen....anything claiming to be antibacterial will be quickly bought by me!

Mr Muscle kitchen cleaner seemed perfect - antibacterial action, multipurpose, and easy to use. You just spray it on and wipe it off, no need for rinsing. It did my work surfaces/sink etc nicely and left no stickiness, and an odd although not unpleasant odour (faintly lemony, and no bleach).

All was going fine until I did the fridge! I removed all the food, sprayed inside and left it to dry, then put the food back. The next day I made myself a cheese sandwich using bread from the fridge. I bit into it and.......HEAVE, Mr Muscle attack! It was just like eating soap powder!

Now the bread had been wrapped up but the stuff still managed to get through. In horror I threw it away. Then to even greater horror I realized most of the other food in the kitchen was affected!

I really think I need to have an exorcism performed as this horrible stuff is haunting me. Three weeks on and my fridge STILL smells of Mr Muscle and my food STILL tastes of it!

now I love my food but it has got to the point where I literally feel physically sick when I go into the kitchen because of the smell and the memory of the taste. Incidently I also got a mild tummy upset shortly after consuming the Muscle sandwich!
And now it's such hot weather the stuff is smelling even more....will I ever be free? ;-D

take my advice and steer clear of this stuff - or if you have to use it, keep it well away from anything you enjoy eating! oh - and keep it away from wood, it also stained my drawers.

ame misery..I've found the cure, thanks to my dear mom! Buy a fridge deodorizer - little egg-shaped things which contain charcoal and magically absorb odours in your fridge. I was highly skeptical but they really do work. Hooray, my fridge smells like a fridge once more and I can EAT - though I've been left with a permanent phobia of bread and still can't touch the stuff!
