Advantages: It does clean brilliantly!
Disadvantages: That powerful smell!
My kitchen needed a good clean the other day and I didn't fancy using anything I had, my mummy however had a cupboard full of cleaning goodies so me being the good daughter that I am pinched a few lol! One of the many cleaning products I picked up was Mr Muscle Kitchen cleaner, Lemon Fresh.
Mr Muscle Kitchen Lemon Fresh comes in a tall 750ml trigger spray bottle. It's a yellow, plastic bottle with a green sticker on the front with a handsome, cartoon character of Mr Muscle himself -- Oooh I wish! The background picture is of a gleaming oven and it clearly tells us it's Lemon Fresh - a Tough cleaning formula with anti-bacterial action.
Mr Muscle Kitchen Cleaner is specifically formulated to quickly tackle tough kitchen grease and grime.
Anti-bacterial action
Leaves kitchen surfaces sparkling clean with a fresh lemon scent.
To release the spray inside you need to turn the nozzle on the top so it's 'open' when finished you turn it back to close it therefore making it a little safer when leaving it in the bottom cupboard, especially if you have children who like to be nosey. You can use the spray on cooker tops, sink and tiles and work surfaces.
I've only used it in my kitchen on my kitchen sides, around my sink and on my oven which is constantly grimy and thick with grease after use so I'm cleaning it regularly.
Spraying the Mr Muscle Lemon Fresh product I was surprised that it actually sprayed out clear, very much like water, a thin, transparent liquid with an overwhelmingly chemically crisp smell. It has the sharpness that a lemon does but it is more chemical and bleach fragranced than lemon in my opinion. It doesn't foam or froth instead it just looks like water on a kitchen side so I'd probably use it while noone else is about so they don't lean on it or get their hands on it etc.
It did quickly tackle tough marks and stains on my worktops and lifted alot of stubborn marks and patches quite quickly too. I didn't have to scrub real hard, or put in an awful lot of elbow grease to be honest and my kitchen sink and worktops were left sparkling and shiny.
The 'cleaning' aspect of this spray was brilliant, it really did clean and remove tough stains as well as leaving my surfaces shiny and fresh but that smell is just too much. It forced me to squint my eyes at times as it flowed round my kitchen it was just too powerful for me, way to chemical like and not all that fruity fresh like I was expecting. It has that sour bitterness about it that a lemon does and it seems to get stronger once sprayed. The smell also lingers and it did become a bit too much for my nostrils. If it weren't for the overwhelmingly strong smell I would probably use this again as it's cleaning abilities were great but that smell has put me off.
Summary: A product that has the cleaning ability but unfortunately it stinks!
