Advantages: does exactly what it says on the can

Every couple of months I give my cooker a really good clean , I do it every day with the usual kitchen cleaner spray but like to know that it has a good clean every couple of months and the only stuff to but is Mr Muscle Oven Cleaner.
It comes in a green and orange aerosol can and you have to wear rubber gloves and do not breath it in.
A can will cost you around £1.89 depending on where you but it from.

This stuff will remove grease that has been baked on as well as any spills which have landed at the bottom of the oven. A little of it goes a long way and it can be used both inside and outside of the oven.
Spraying on this stuff has to be done at a distance, do not make the mistake of leaning into the oven when spraying it inside as if you happen to get a lung full of this stuff it will take the back of your throat off and you’ll end up in fits of coughing.
When you spray it on you have to wear gloves as it will really irritate your skin and you’ll feel a burning sensation.
It’s not for everyday use and has to be stored well out of reach of little kids, in fact you have to be a brave adult to use this stuff.

When you first spray it on the surface of the oven or cooker top, it will turn into foam within seconds, this really stinks chemically and you just know why you have to stand back and wear gloves as soon as you smell it.
Leave the foam on the surface or inside of the oven for around twenty minutes longer for stubborn stains, then rinse it off as best you can going over and over the surface until your sure there isn’t a trace of it left.
Do not try to cook something within the next two hours as this stuff will ruin the food, the smell lingers a little while and it’s best to leave the oven to dry naturally then go over it again with an ordinary kitchen cleaner to take away the toxic scent of the foam.

On the plus side this oven cleaner really works well, it lives up to it’s name and you’ll be surprised at how much grease comes off your cooker, I do mine everyday with an ordinary kitchen cleaner and am always surprised at how much the inside of the oven collects grease.
This is really good value for money as you’ll only need a little bit, it lasts for ages and even though the fumes are toxic and the foam an irritant, it works better than anything I have tried so far.
Although it’s not for everyday use and you couldn’t get your kids to clean with it as it’s too dangerous, it is worth the test if you haven’t tried it before.

Just remember to stand well back.
