Mr Muscle Oven Cleaner is a god send, and it's so easy to use.

Quite simply, you open the oven door, take your shelves out, spray the contents into the oven, shut the door and leave it.

Depending on the state of your oven, you leave it on for anything between 30 minutes and 2 hours, and then wipe your oven down. It's absolutely amazing how much of the crap it gets off, and it shifts the grease as well as the long-burnt-on bits too.

The only downside to the stuff is that it's so powerful you have to have a window open at the same time, and try not to breathe while you're spraying it, as it is quite noxious, which is probably why it works so well. You also need to wear gloves and keep your eyes covered to avoid splashbacks as it's an irritant.

If you've been meaning to clean the oven for a while, but just haven't been able to work up the courage for a such a minging job, then give this stuff a go. It really is so easy you'll wonder what you did without it.

Costs around £2.50 for a 500ml can.
