I have been using Mr Muscle Shower Shine for months now, and I am very pleased with the results. Rather than my shower having limescale and rust build up so much, this spray helps to keep away these things as well as giving my shower an adorable shine. The good thing about this spray is that it requires no scrubbing, and you aren't actually meant to scrub as it won't work effectively. Therefore, it is easy to use and comes at a good price too!

Design

I bought a 750ml bottle because it was on special offer of a 500ml with 50% free! The standard size is a 500ml transparent bottle, which sprays and looks like any other bottle but has no colour to the plastic. There is a large label on the front, which is very durable with water seeing as well you will most probably keep it in the shower. This label represents the Shower Shine words in purple and has a background picture of a shower spraying out water, showing a shiny head to the shower. The bar code is down the side, because this is the only label on the outside. The Mr Muscle logo in orange is just below with the slogan 'Loves the Jobs You Hate' and the slogan for this particular product is 'Never Scrub Again!' This product is also clearly shown that it is manufactured by Johnson - A Family Company. This label has more information on the inside such as details on how to use the spray.

You can read the inside label through the back of the bottle, which is good as it limits the labels to only one and you can still read both. The top has a very good spray mechanism. It has the ability to be turned on and off by twisting the nozzle. I normally keep mine on, but it can be switched off and won't leak. The spray works well and sprays out over a good area evenly. The solution inside is totally clear as well, so it has a clean and clear as crystal look.

How To Use

The spray is very simple to use, but you must remember a few things for best effects. First off, use this after every shower. It isn't worth using it if one person is going to shower right after the other, so wait until everyone has showered for the morning/evening. You MUST use this on a regular basis after every shower for maximum effects.

So, after the shower grab the bottle and make sure the nozzle is switched on. Then, use the trigger to spray evenly all over your shower. This includes the shower head, but is meant mainly for the doors or plastic/glass panels in your shower. It will not show up that much, but may create a slight bubbly look on the glass, but don't keep spraying because it isn't showing up! DO NOT scrub, rinse or wipe any of the bits you have sprayed. You simply leave it naturally to do its stuff and it will dry with a sparkle.

Effectiveness

I find this spray very effective, and compared to others it is much more efficient and works well. On the back of the label, they claim that this spray does the following:

* Prevents limescale build up
* Prevents soap scum
* Prevents grime

I must say that these points are totally true, and it does exactly this! My shower is in perfect condition without white crusty windows full of limescale, and the shower head is in mint condition too after being sprayed every now and then. However, please do note that this spray is meant mainly for use with the windows/doors or glass/plastic panels of your shower rather than the head or taps. Not only does this spray leave my shower in good condition considering limescale and scum, but it also gives it a lovely shine when it dries, as the name suggests.

I bought my bottle for £1.29 at my local supermarket. It was a great deal, as I got 750ml for 500ml with a 50% extra free deal. This is great value and the spray lasts me quite a while. Depending on how many showers you have a day and how much you use it, this spray can last anything from 2 weeks to 2 months - especially the larger 750ml bottle. This can be bought at any good supermarket or even smaller shops as it is very common and quite popular.

In conclusion, I am very happy with my Mr Muscle Shower Shine. It does exactly what it says on the bottle with good shiny effects afterwards. I have had no limescale build up or any nasty things such as soap scum or grime. The windows of my shower are crystal clear and my shower head is in good condition too. It can be used with the shower head, but is mainly for use with the glass or plastic windows/doors around the shower. It comes in a good bottle with the ability to be switched on and off so stop leakage. The spray nozzle is effective as it sprays out evenly to a large area. For just £1.29 for 750ml on a special offer, my current bottle was a right bargain and I cannot wait to buy it again to maintain a clean and lovely shower! This is a very effective product and well-worth buying!
