So much for good intentions, my house has turned into a bit of a cluttered mess lately so it's time to ditch all the junk I don't use so I dont feel like I'm suffocating under piles of stuff anymore.

I bought my bottle of Mr Muscle shower shine when I first moved into my house about a year and a half ago. My bathroom doesnt have a bath, instead it has a huge shower cubicle with sliding glass doors and being lazy it looked like a good way to cut down my cleaning time.

Mr Muscle claims that by spraying this liquid around your shower cubicle every time you finish your shower then it prevents the build up of limescale, lime and grime.

The first problem I had with this product was how to get it onto my surfaces without covering myself in it. My shower cubicle is certainly larger than average but I was still hit by spray no matter how carefully I tried to apply it. I've just washed myself using carefully selected soaps and shampoos and the last thing I want is cleaning chemicals all over me. I did try standing outside the door to spray it but of course with the slide doors open I cant then cover them in spray.

When you spray this you can see the little droplets of product running down your tiles or glass. I will admit that the surfaces did look slightly shinier in the short term but by the end of the week when I give my shower a deep clean then there was no real difference.

It might be the fact that I live in a soft water area that this didn't work for me. I've never had limescale or soap scum to deal with anyway so a product that reduces these things is of no use to me.

Overall another useless buy for me. It did achieve a slight shine in the short term and it does have a nice light fresh smell but it had no real real benefit in terms of cutting down my cleaning time. I get almost the same amount of shine by spraying the shower down with water before I get out as I did with this. I've got about a 1/3 of the bottle left after over a year and it's time to ditch it and free up some space.

Summary: Not worth it in soft water areas
