Cleaning windows. There's a simple two words designed to strike loathing into the hearts of most folks. Along with cutting the grass, it's a job most people detest with a passion, which I suppose is why lots of folks pay a window cleaner to do the job for them. I've never being a person noted for handing out readies for a job I can easily do myself. (And better than any window cleaner!) In fact, I don't really mind cleaning the windows, although I wouldn't go so far as to say I actually enjoy it. My approved method is lots of hot soapy water, (any decent brand of washing up liquid will do) a soft headed brush for applying the said soapy water, then swish it ... Read the complete review

No one likes cleaning windows, but it is one of those things that needs to be done to keep everywhere in pristine condition. Mr Muscle loves the jobs you hate, as the slogan rightly says. I became aware of Mr Muscle Window & Glass Cleaner when it came out as I saw it in Tesco once. I had to try it out, and to my surprise it did an excellent job - surprisingly better than any other window cleaner! This product is great for cleaning windows, inside and outside as well as a bunch of other stuff. It only needs to be sprayed a little bit to a window, and then rubbed in all over, making sure you reach the corners well with the corner of a cloth to do the job ... Read the complete review

In my house there are two smokers, the outside of the house is regularly used as a bombing range for the local pigeons, I AM NOT a domestic Goddess and cleaning the windows is my second most hated chore in the world after ironing. Before moving to this house I paid a window cleaner once a fortnight to clean the windows both outside and inside. Yes thats how much I detest cleaning them, even my world famous cheapness didnt prevent me from quite happily paying someone else to get them clean! Then we moved and, to be frank, this areas window cleaner is a little work shy. Resigned to the fact that I would now (yuck) have to (ick) clean my OWN windows (heaven ... Read the complete review

Background: I sadly and probably quite strangely enjoy cleaning my windows. I find nothing more satisfying than knowing they are as clean as they can be and I can see the mess that is my garden. It also gives me a good excuse to chat to my neighbours while I'm working. To be honest I never know how often I should clean them but I do it when I'm in the mood, it a nice day and I see smears, dirt or bird poo on them. The product was first brought to my attention by their television advertising campaign a few years ago. They said 'Mr Muscle loves the jobs you hate' and it cleaned without much scrubbing or effort. The product: I ... Read the complete review

Cleaning windows is a job I really hate, I don't think there is anyone out there that actually enjoys cleaning windows. It is just one of them jobs that has to be done, I mean even if you have a window cleaner you still have to clean the inside of your windows yourself. Not only do I hate cleaning my windows I am also really rubbish at it, it doesn't matter how hard I try or how much effort I put into it my windows still end up looking streaky and smeary. My husband swears by using soapy water and newspaper, and when he cleans the windows they are really, really clean. However when I try this method it just doesn't work, therefore I buy various different ... Read the complete review
