Advantages: Works very well, lasts long, bottle doesn't leak, streak-free!

Disadvantages: none

No one likes cleaning windows, but it is one of those things that needs to be done to keep everywhere in pristine condition. Mr Muscle loves the jobs you hate, as the slogan rightly says. I became aware of Mr Muscle Window & Glass Cleaner when it came out as I saw it in Tesco once. I had to try it out, and to my surprise it did an excellent job - surprisingly better than any other window cleaner!

This product is great for cleaning windows, inside and outside as well as a bunch of other stuff. It only needs to be sprayed a little bit to a window, and then rubbed in all over, making sure you reach the corners well with the corner of a cloth to do the job well. When using it on the outside of the window, without falling out, it does a great job on easily removing those water marks and dirt, leaving you with a smudge-free sparkling window! It also works brilliantly on other kinds of glass such as those precious photo memories in their fine frames. It is probably much safer to apply the spray to the cloth rather than the glass of the frame directly, as it may seep into the frame and ruin the photo! This happened to me with a signed photo of the famous mini-me from Austin Powers!

Not only does it do a good job on glass, but I have found it useful when doing the bathroom! All those modern metallic items that you get - the bins, toilet roll holders, towel rails and toilet brush holders that are all nice and shiny when you buy them always get marks all over them! Whether it is toothpaste, water marks or just dust, Mr Muscle Windows & Glass Cleaner is the best solution for them! If you apply a small (I mean small) amount to a cloth and gently clean the metallic object, it does a fine job leaving them with no streaks or marks! Bear in mind that it isn't actually an anti-bacterial spray, so it would be beneficial to go over the items with this first before giving them a sparkling shine!

The other good thing about this product is that it comes in a good quality bottle! One thing I have found with cheap window cleaners or other products in similar containers is that they leak! It is the worse thing when cleaning to have your hands stinking of strong bleach, or getting it all over your clothes by accident just because of a leaking container! This product doesn't contain bleach, but it doesn't leak. Normally, they leak around the top where the screw on head is, but the container that this product comes in is well-made so there will be no leaks! Of course, it is a waste of the product anyway if it leaks! It is easy to use, but you must make sure that it is switched to 'on' before you try spraying, or it dribbles out when you do switch it on, because the pressure as built up at the top and the liquid is at the top waiting to come out. At the very end of the head where the nozzle is, you can turn this bit round to 'on' so that you can use it. When it is 'off' there are no chances of it leaking, unless you actually break the container. It comes in a transparent plastic container so transparent; they probably used their own product on it! It has a green and white label with the Mr Muscle logo and 'Window & Glass Cleaner' clearly labelled on the front. On the back are all the directions for use and safety instructions and all the legal stuff.

I bought my 500ml bottle for £1.49 at my local shop, which isn't a bad price considering how long it lasts, and that it is probably the best glass cleaner out there. It really does leave no streaks or marks if you use it correctly. Make sure you go over the surface fully and the corners, covering it all with the cleaner. Once you have done this, let it naturally dry. Use a DRY cloth/duster to go over the window in small circles, putting greater pressure on the surface to give it a polished clean. Be careful with the spray, and don't always directly spray onto things like computer screens, frames and electrical equipment such as clock faces, or anything that might be ruined. Make sure that it is always dried thoroughly too, or it may start to ruin the object.

A funny story to prove that this cleaner really does work is that my dog once walked into a window we had cleaned! It was one of those balcony door long windows that went down to the floor. He just woke up from a nap in the sun, and I don't know whether his eye sight was just getting back to normal, or if the window was just so clear, but he got up to walk inside through this one door and walked straight into it! You should have seen the look on his face! Poor dog, I must say. It was quite frankly hilarious when he did it, but it proves the power of Mr Muscle cleaner! Don't mess with Mr Muscle, or your head will have a big bump on it the next morning!

It is very useful for the car too. It is great at cleaning the windscreen that gets covered in stupid little flies and bugs that have died a horrible death when smashed by your windscreen. It is useful to keep one in the car to give the mirrors a quick clean as well as the driver's mirror inside the car. It is a great emergency tool to have in the car for when your windows get very dirty!

I would highly recommend this product to anyone, due to its quality. You pay for the quality here, but it is well worth it, because a 500ml bottle at around £1.50 is good value, considering how well it works, and that it can work on a variety of things - not just windows and glass! Don't go using it on wood though, that's going a bit too far, just a bit. There are normally savings on this product anyway such as 33% free or reduced prices, making it twice as good! In fact, many people's houses I visit have pristine windows and glass objects, which have been cleaned by the legendary Mr Muscle Window & Glass Cleaner. It's like a necessity in life, and does a brilliant job. If you haven't got one in your house or car, then pick one up as soon as you can to experience streak-free, easy to use luxury - the best glass cleaner on the market! It is available at most shops including supermarkets such as Tesco, Asda and more.

I never even mentioned Porcelain, and I know it isn't meant for stainless steel, but i am just posting what i have found works from my own experience.

How can you say that this product doesn't leave streaks on porcelain? Unless you have a clear porcelain (?) in your bathroom there is of course no way to tell if this product can leave smears since the surface isn't clear glass.

Im wondering therefore on what you think about the product's smell too which seems to be lacking from your review.

This review has been rated SU because it is too elaborate - dont try and sell the product - just reflect your own personal experience. It is not made for metal either since its main ingredient is vinegar and vinegar DESTROYS metal.

Also if it hasn't got anti-bacterial agents in it, I can't see many consumers using it in the bathroom and then have to use another product when you can buy products fit for the very purpose of cleaning porcelain and being antibacterial. Mr Muscle make at least 5 products for the bathroom. Nar2
