We have just spent our entire Saturday afternoon cleaning the house. It was done rather grumpily I must say, since the sun is beaking outside and I could write a list of other things I would rather be doing, but as we are about to jet off on holiday, it was an unavoidable job. I don't exactly want my mother in law wiping the dust off the table with her finger.

Anyway, one of the many cleaning products being used this afternoon was Mr Muscle Window and Glass Cleaner. We bought this product when we first moved into our house, and we are still using the same 500ml bottle, which costs just over £1 usually, but is regularly on offer.

This Mr Muscle cleaner has vinegar in it to give a 'streak free shine'. As its name suggests, it is for use on windows, mirrors and glass surfaces such as table tops. It is not however, for use on wooden floors, and the information on the bottle states that if you want to use it on surfaces other that windows and glass, you should test it on an 'inconspicuous area' first.

The cleaner itself is a green liquid, which comes in a clear bottle, with a on'off nozzle at the top, which ensures if knocked it won't leak out, assuming you have it turned to the 'off' position. I have found this bottle to be very easy to use, and in fact, you have to be careful when you spray, that you don't press the nozzle too hard, as it willl spurt out quite quickly.

I use this cleaning product mainly on out bathroon mirrors and wardrobe mirror doors, and I have always been extremely impressed with its effectiveness. As I said, it sprays onto the desired surface very easily, and with a cloth at the ready, you can simply wipe the surface clean. There has never been anything on my mirrors that Mr Muscle has not got rid of when I have used it to clean. After I have cleaned the mirrors, I simply wipe them with another dry cloth, and the mirrors look terrific, perfectly clean, without sightly streaks or smears. Obviously the addition of the vinegar really does work at stopping streaks from appearing on the surfaces.

I would not use any other window or glass cleaning product, simply because, firstly I feel that Mr Muscle Window and Glass Cleaner is very good value for money regardless of supermarket offers on it, it is simlpy to use, and it effectively cleans my glass and windows without leaving any streaks, and instead making my mirrors shine. Even though I loathe cleaning, I feel that 'Mr Muscle' really does all the hard work instead! A great product to have in your cleaning cupboard.
