Mr Muscle Window & Glass:

I have huge windows in my flat; now I'm not complaining the quality of natural light in my living is fantastic thanks to the 9' window but window cleaning is a pain, (no pun intended). I have searched high and low in my quest to find a cheap but good window cleaner but every time I come back to good old Mr Muscle Window & Glass.

Many of you will no doubt be familiar with the clear plastic spray bottles full of bright green liquid which for me have been ruined with the 'beefing up' of Mr Muscle from Geek to Super Hero! The packaging is entirely fit for purpose. The trigger spray is easy to use and can be turned off, 9by rotating the 'nozzle' end), to avoid accidental discharge which has to be good in my opinion. The label has all the necessary information although most of it is on the back of the label that is on the front, (if that makes sense), so you have to read it through the bottle which is a tad tricky. There is a symbol on the bottom of the bottle showing that it can be recycled where facilities are available.

To use this amazing product you simply spray onto the window, mirror or whatever and wipe off with a lint free cloth or kitchen roll, (I use kitchen roll with very good results). I find that a liberal spray is best to get all the muck off then I wipe the worst with kitchen roll and then use a clean piece to buff the windows to a lovely shine. Unless I have been slack the finish is always streak free which is more than I can say for nearly every other glass cleaner I have ever used. I smoke and I can say that it deals with nicotine very well and the air is always fresher after I have cleaned the windows.

I also find this great for cleaning UPVC window frames; it really cuts through all the muck and leaves the frames looking like new. I use it on my front door which has an almost plastic like coating over the wood and it gets off hand marks etc really quickly and with a minimum of effort.

The smell is unusual and I cannot really describe it other than saying it smells clean but very chemically. It isn't horrible though just not particularly 'nice'.

A bottle costs around £1.35 but can also be found on offer a lot which makes it better value. Frankly I think it is easily worth the price as it really is the best window/glass cleaner I have found. A bottle lasts quite a while too, I clean my windows weekly and a bottle lasts me about 6 weeks.
