Advantages: Cleans dirty marks off chrome leaving it looking shiny.

Disadvantages: Not lasting results and wipes dry out.

Throughtout our house we seem to have a lot of chrome, bins, door handles, taps, trim on the tiles, bathroom cabinet, bathroom accessories are all chrome. I find it really difficult to clean chrome without it looking smeary and have tried all sorts over the years but to no avail.

I came across Mr Sheen Metal Wipes in Tesco a few months ago and they were on special offer, really cheap about 75p and at that price I just had to give them a go.

Unlike other wipes these are specifically for cleaning chrome and stainless steal. 'To clean, care, shine your metal surfaces'.
The pack I bought contained 36 large wipes and had 50% extra free. The size of the wipes are approximately 3 inch by 6 inch.

The wipes are a quick and convenient way to clean all of your metal surfaces. They are designed to remove dirt, fingerprints and dust off your surfaces leaving them shiny and bright.

After trying them I am really impressed with the results, they do clean the marks off my chrome, leaving them shiny rather than smeary.
I do have to use the wipes quite often as the results are not lasting, but chrome does get dirty easily, you only have to touch it and there are fingerprints all over it.

My only complaint would probably be that the resealable pack doesn't reseal after a while and this results in the top few wipes drying out. There is just a peel back sticky label and when you have opened the pack a few times the label is no longer sticky.

This product is not perfect but so far it is the best I have come across to clean my chrome and I will keep using Mr Sheen wipes until something better turns up.
