Advantages: easy to use, gives a great shine, smells lovely

Disadvantages: arerosol

Since the start of the credit crunch/recession I've made a conscious effort to try & cut down on our food & household bills by trying several cheaper brands here & there. This 'downsizing' exercise has resulted in my making a few mistakes but also I've been pleasantly surprised by some of the cheapo products including Tesco Value furniture polish but have to admit I've now gone back to buying Mr Sheen's.

We have a few items of furniture which are precious to me as I inherited then from my late parents. These include a large low coffee table , stackable cube bookshelves & a kitchen table which were handcrafted in West Africa & given to my parents as a wedding present when they went there to work.

The quality of wood & the craftsmanship of each piece makes them in my opinion, irreplaceable & I feel they deserve to be treated with respect. I have therefore been determined to treat each item to a beeswax treatment once a year plus give them a good polish with Mr Sheen Furniture Polish each week.

I've found this to be the best polish which is easily available though must admit I use cheaper stuff on the rest of the furniture.

I like everything about this spray including it's well-designed dispenser, the fragrances ( I prefer the Original but also like the Jasmine) & the finished shine it gives. I also think it's good value for money - around £1.40 for 300ml - as you only need to use a little each time. I've found that it doesn't smear & you don't have to rub it into the furniture too hard to get that 'just polished' look.

As far as I can tell it also lives up to its claim that it is anti-static as I haven't experienced any static despite all items being used constantly.

As with all aerosol sprays care has to be taken when using but cautions are provided, along with directions for use & ingredients on the reverse of the can.

I'd recommend Mr Sheen Furniture Polish because of the good design, ease of use, lovely 'just polished' smell & the consistently good results it gives.

Summary: a great polish for furniture - recommended

Good review. I agree Mr Sheen is one of those products you just can't ignore. Even the pound shop versions aren't as good as this well trusted brand name.
