Advantages: Easy to clean, very cheap, good build

Disadvantages: Only one colour design.

Been an active member of my gym I always find myself on the same website for my supplements; MyProtein.co.uk.

This is where I stumbled across this new Blender Bottle.

This bottle is basically for mixing sports drinks that may not mix too well, such as dextrose, protein, leuicine and such products. They can be purchased from many good supplement and sports shops such as JJB to Holland and Barratt. The one thing you will notice about these bottles however is the price. They average around £4-5 in price per bottle, and when you get through a few bottles a day it comes quite costly in them.

This is when I decided to hunt around and looked on MyProtein. They have a couple of different bottles. Theres the standard Blender bottle, which holds approx 700ml of liquid, with a screw on and flip top lid. There is also like a grill thats placed on to just before the lid to help mix the contents. I have had many of these in the past so decided to try the newly designed Max Blender Bottle.

Instead of a grill at the top of the bottle, it comes with a small metal spiral ball as a blender. Its so simple, being a spring, but works so well. Its true that simplicity works.

These bottles hold a little less however at around 600-650ml, but thats not a massive problem.

With a secure lid and flip top for drinking from, I am never afraid of one leaking in my gym bag as this has happened in the past with several other brands.

The design is limited with a frosted colour plastic bottle with blue lid. I think a good idea would be for the company to designed different colour lids. This being so simple, but if different drinks contain different supplements (pre or posr workout for example), then you can simply remember which colour is what drink.

Being a little wide in size it makes them very easy to clean up and with the blender being a spring its no problem bending it about to getting it completely clean.

The best part about this bottle however is not just the new design but the price. They are £1.95 each making them less than half the price of other competitors. This is a fantastic price and due to this I havent changed my bottles since!

Summary: A fantastic sports bottle at a very good price.
