For anyone who wants to keep their whites white without using bleach I would strongly recommend Nappy Cleanse, available from Boots and other brand names such as Napisan.

I found this product when I was washing my daughters white baby grows etc when she was little.

It costs around £1.50 for a box that lasts ages. You put a tablespoon or so into your white wash, please check the individual manufacturers instructions, with the powder and hay presto amazing whites.

There is no bleach in it and it is a great product for all sorts of whites, my husbands shirts and sports socks have never been as bright.

It also has a germ killing agent in it so nappies, towels, kitchen cloths etc also come out with you knowing that they are truly clean.

For anyone with children, babies or people who play dirty sports in the house this is a must.
