I'm seriously underwhelmed by all the fruity, floral, scented plug-in, spray-on, leave-it-sitting-on-the-window-sill, air-freshening products available. The main problem being that they're over-abundant with the type of perfume that just doesn't hack it with my "Kays-Catalogue meets 2nd-Hand-Chic via Dusty-Dog-Kennel" designer decor. They're expensive too. And I'm not a sweet, floaty, out-of-focus, blossom-fragranced, Anais Anais sort of gal by nature. I'm more your musky, Patchouli Oil, seawater and fresh ground coffee type of boot-wearing Earth Mother. But the sad fact is, my home stinks. The two adult males who ... Read the complete review

I have recently decided that my life would be incomplete without the gorgeous Persian cross tabby kitten that I saw in my local pet shop. Taking my bundle of fluff home I was sure he would settle in without any problems...how wrong could I be!?! Dude (the kids named him), has decided to be offended by the litter tray and would rather poop behind the sofa or the television and I have therefore had problems with nasty whiffs that I really wanted to get rid of. I went on the hunt for something to use either directly on the affected areas or something that would do a job of getting rid of the general smell around the house. I vaguely ... I'm all for opening windows and having natural freshness in my house. However sometimes it's just not enough and you need a helping hand. I smoke for my sins for starters. I have a dog and I eat fish and garlic and curries and spicy foods. Sometimes I need a quick fix solution but not one that just adds to an already gross aroma in my home but something that sort of gets into the smell and disperses it. I don't want to spray an air freshener every 5 minutes and I don't want to keep buying floral plug ins that cost an arm and a leg and don't tackle stinks. I want one I can spray and the smell lingers and so far this is the only one I've found that truly works so I decided ... Read the complete review

I'm a sucker for fancy air fresheners, I've probably tried all of them - glade wisp (the proof is in the puff), 3volution, Mobil'Air, but my latest find is neutrodol quickspray. I was looking for an air freshener for my bathroom, and Poundland normally sell Crystal Air and Touch and Fresh, but last time I went in they didn't have any left. I don't usually like the aerosol sprays as they never usually work, but Neutrodol QuickSpray was about the only other option, so that's what I went for. ~About Neutrodol~ Neutrodol are a swiss company, and their products contain over 50 ingredients which supposedly attack bad odours, leaving you with fresh, clean ... I am fed up of buying loads of different types of air fresheners that just dont work. I mean you get a normal shops own brand aerosol, or Glade or something, and it just drops to the ground as soon as you spray it! Same goes for plug in fresheners, you plug them in, and the smell lasts for two hours before it stops! I have had Neutradol before and to be honest I hated the smell it had, although it did 'do what it says on the tin'. But I was shopping the other day and saw this on the shelf and thought that I might as well give it another go. Now, our house does'nt smell, infact people comment on how nice it smells, but you can smell ... Read the complete review
