My thumb felt instantly better when I discovered Unibond's No More Nails.

This brilliant glue works on wood, plastic, brick, metal, glass, ceramics.. and of course plastic.

I had to give it a go, my shelf was becoming unstable, I couldn't allow that to happen as it has my precious music system on it, I had to find some way of making it secure without drilling more holes, creating more dust and remain... sweatless without stress. It does say that it takes approximately 24 hours to dry properly, but within 10 minutes I could take the pressure off and it stayed glued to the wall.
It worked well.

Other uses include skirting boards, dado rails, carpet, architraves, this one tube has taken over my toolbox.

You can find it at nearly any DIY shop and I would recommend it to anyone.
