Advantages: Sparking clean dishwasher

Many people think that they don't need to clean their dishwasher unless they live in hard water areas but cleaning the dirt, scum, food particles, grease and grime from the unseen areas of your dishwasher is essential.

Many products come in a combined form with cleaner and detergent included but this is not sufficient to effectively clean the build up of potentially health threatening bacteria.

All dishwashers need a thorough clean periodically. (This applied to washing machines too but at least you aren't washing your dishes in that!)

The problem I had was that mine is a half size dishwasher as there is only me to wash-up for. This means that the tablets, gel sachets, etc are unsuitable. They leave a residue behind because there is not so much water going through to dilute them.

Oust dishwasher cleaner comes in a sachet and it is in powdered for which means I can use half of it. (The other half goes in my washing machine to freshen it up.)

I had noticed that my dishwasher had a stale smell if it stood unused for a couple of days but using this product and running it through a full cycle has freshened it up.

I also noticed that the drain area inside the machine is clean, clear and sparkling and so are the stainless steel plates at the back and sides.

The only thing that I didn't like was that it left a powdery residue on the bottom seal and the front so I had to wipe that away in case it was caustic.

This is an excellent product, easy to use and effective.

Summary: Excellent prodiuct, does what it says and so easy to use
