If you live in a hard water area the effects of limescale are all too obvious, on sinks,toilets in the kettle. They are plain to see and are cleaned up.

The effects on your washing machine are not noticeable. Over the years limescale and old powder residues build up inside the lining of the drum, on the heating element and throughout the machine. This effects the quality of your wash and will eventually lead to mechanical failure of the machine.

Oust produce a wonderful remedy that is suitable for both washing machines and dishwashers. Simply pour a sachet of the powder directly into the drum and run a 60' wash. This will remove limescale from around the machine.

The packet omes with two sachets, leaving one for the dishwasher. In a dishwasher it will remove both limescale and grease residues.

This is a small price to pay against the cost of repairs caused by excessive limescale.

**UPDATE**

Having used both sachets on our very blocked up machine with a number of boil washes to loosen any remaining limescale / powder residue it's working a lot better. Clothes are coming up cleaner and the filter isn't getting blocked up with debris.
