Advantages: Simple to use no hard work needed

Disadvantages: Burn skin if you come in to contact with solution

Now I hate cleaning the oven, find it one of the worse cleaning jobs going.. i could never get it very clean.

My mum told me about oven pride and all she told me was you place the racks on a bag add the solution and leave it and the racks come out clean. I thought YA right OK. what ever you say mum.

Thought id give some ago any way bought some from Asda and brought it home.

One the bright orange box it says "simple"
1 - Bag the racks
2 - pour in the solution
3 - Wait and rinse

so i did what it said... bag the racks and pour in the solution - i may add here you must wear gloves (iv got it on my skin and it burns and it burnt my arm hair away)

and waited. now i kept going back to have a look and i could see the dirt just coming away from the racks - now it would take me a good hour to even get anywhere near clean when scrubbing away.

it say to leave as long as possible I left my bag over night and went to look the next morning the solution on the bag was black bright.

removed racks (again making sure i was wearing gloves again)
and rinse them in the sink of warm soapy water - and i was shocked to see 3 brand new racks in front of me!!

I also had applied the rest of the solution to the oven and removed with a wet cloth and to my total surprise i had what i would call a new oven.

placed my racks back in my own and when my husband looked he said WOW.

my oven looked brand new. It looked that good i did not want to use it again.

I now have oven pride in my cleaning cupboard and use it once every 3-6 months depending on how bad my oven gets.

I highly recommend this product to anyone who hates cleaning. even hubby will use it as its that simple.
