Advantages: reduces bulky clothing, bedding etc. Easy to store.Keeps things clean.

Disadvantages: Could do with some smaller sizes. Can be quite heavy when air sucked out!

Well if you live in a shoebox like I do - you would be well advised to get some of these. I ordered them on the internet and received a box containing 3 bags. 2 XLG Bag 60 x 100cm and 1 x Jumbo Bag 100 x 110cm. They are made of a very tough plastic but are completely see through.
One side has a plastic popper resealable zip which enables you to open up the side wide enough to put everything in...this includes duvets, pillows, clothing, soft furnishings even Teddy Bears and soft toys!! When all the items are in the bag you simply seal the zip. On the other side of the bag is a little flap also with a resealable zip - you simply place the hoover (crevice tool) in through this opening and switch the hoover on. When the bag is reducing in size no more you hold the flap whilst removing the crevice tool (with the hoover still running) and simply close the zip. That's it! I am still amazed when I see the whole bag shrinking!!
You can put away all of those summer/winter clothes and you know they will be protected from damp, dust, and pests and being see through you can see what is in each bag.
They are reusable and have a guarentee of 5 years.
I should point out that when the air is extracted from the bag that it becomes quite rigid and heavy and is quite difficult to manouver so it is a good idea to perform all of the above in the area where you are to store it.
All in all a wonderful invention and I am going to get some more!! Before you know it I will have my whole house vacusaced!!

Summary: Allows you to regain some storage space, and to get things that you don't use out of the way!!
