      Very helpful

Not a very good scented candle.

~ Pan Aroma Fresh Linen Scented Candle ~

To say these candles are a disappointment is an understatement. I received three of these candles in my stocking on Christmas morning, one of them being Fresh Linen Scented. They were purchased in a discount store not very much unlike a pound shop but they cost my hubby £1.20 each, I have since seen them in Home Bargains for around a pound.

I found myself thankful that he hadn't wasted much money on these candles and also thankful that they were small!

The candles come in a small glass jar inside of which is an oily wax substance. To the touch it feels quite greasy.

The initial scent was quite strong and I suppose it did have a fresh washing powder scent.

Yankee Candles these most definitely are not! When first lit there is a hint of something but not anything decidedly noticeable and then the hint of something goes completely as the candle burns yet fails to burn the oil!

After it being lit for a short amount of time it proved near enough impossible to relight again as the oily wax just pooled around the wick, making it useless.

I have tried one of the other scents that I received this one being cookies and cream and had the same problems with this one too.

I suppose if your just after a candle to be lit once for aesthetic purposes these would be fine, but otherwise I wouldn't bother..... Not even for a pound!
