Advantages: Cheap, leaves everywhere fresh, clean and germ free.
Disadvantages: Doesn't get under the rim of the toilet.
We tend to get through loads of bleach in our house mainly because it's one of my favourite things to clean with. My partner's also a chef so to get her whites as clean as possible they so tend to need bleaching before going in the washing machine. For this reason I like to buy it as cheap as possible and after seeing this two litre bottle of Parozone in Poundland I popped it in my basket.
The bleach comes in a lime green, plastic bottle with an easy to hold handle running up one side. The bottle has a screw top lid which is child proof, the top allows easy pouring but it doesn't have the nozzle designed for getting under the rim of toilet. The bottle is clearly branded with the Parazone logo and being the colour it is, it's impossible to miss.
On opening the bottle there's only a very slight citrus scent but it's not as chemical smelling as some bleach which I do prefer but at the same time it still smells very clean. The bleach can be used neat for drains, sinks and toilets. The bleach pours out very thickly so a little goes a long way, I have often used the bleach for pouring down plugholes and I found one capful down the plug followed a few minutes later with hot water does the job and leaves the sink smelling and looking really clean. As I mentioned earlier the bleach doesn't have one of the special lids for getting around the rim of the toilet but I have occasionally used this bleach in the toilet when I've run out of my bleach with the special lid. The bleach leaves the toilet lovely and fresh and looking really clean. I usually pour the bleach down and leave it as long as possible before flushing. When I do flush the bleach froths up and the toilet looks really sparkly clean.
The bleach can also be used diluted to wash surfaces and floors, to do this I usually mix about a capful of the bleach with warm water. I only occasionally do this as I like to use sprays and wipes but whenever I have diluted the bleach in this way once again it has left everywhere looking and smelling really clean. When it comes to washing my partners white sometimes I dilute the bleach sometimes I don't depending on whether it's one touch concentrated stain or lots of little splashes but both ways it has always worked really well and got rid of any stains quickly leaving whites really bright.
Overall, Parozone Lime Thick Bleach is a really good buy. It's an effective cleaner that has many uses leaving surfaces, toilets and drains clean, fresh and germ free. You get a large amount of product for your money and it's a product I buy over and over again.
Summary: 5/5 a cheap bleach that works well.
