I was suprised to read the other opinions on how awful the smell was but I have only been using them for the last few months.So obviously the problem has been rectified or either I like funny smells! I confess I have never been a great fan of Persil and did not buy my first lot, they were given to me.But I am a convert.They are so easy to use and they do the job they are supposed to do, clean the washing.I do not find all tablets, powders,liquids do that!These squashy little capsules are brilliant, if you have a small load you just throw one in your washing machine(no bag, just throw them on top of your washing) and that is more than adequate,two for a full load.Also they do not make a noise when they are going round, the tablets seem to clank, clank all the time, that worries me as I think they are damaging the machine.They do not leave a residue of powder like tablets and powder do!And you do not have to wash out the container draw because it is all gunged up with powder.They also do dissolve at low temperatures.A product that actually lives up to its claims!
